Not so great on iPhone Posted by: from: on I spent about an hour trying to figure out why the remote controller wasn't working on this before finally giving up. There is no "Action Button" or external button at all on the headset itself, which Google Cardboard apps require to simulate a screen tap. So I have to open the headset and physically tap the screen whenever a VR app needs a button-push. I assume the remote controller would give me that functionality, but I can't get it to work on my iPhone with any games or apps; I can only get it to work with videos. I did change the "mode" as directed by the instructions, but it was no help. Movie mode is the only mode that works for the controller on my iPhone. According to other comments I read online, other iPhone users are having this same issue, but it works fine on Android. I don't have an Android so I can't test that, and I'm not going to give up my iPhone in favor of an Android just so I can use a $30 headset. As a result, I am limited to apps that do not require an action button and instead work off of gaze control... of which there's like 5, and 4 of them are roller coaster sims. There are openings on either side of the headset, so I imagine I could fashion a conductive button on my own, but this unit is designed for Google Cardboard apps and doesn't even have the conductive button that is part of Google's standard design. I feel like, in order to have a decent experience on this device, I would need to either buy an Android or modify the headset. Bottom line, if you have an Android then this may be OK for you, but if you have an iPhone buy something else.

Poorly Designed Posted by: from: on The VR set is heavy on the head and constantly droops. It lacks any sort of outside button so you will find yourself taking it off, opening it up, aiming the screen, and tapping to continue in VR apps. The way the mount is set up it constantly hits the power and volume buttons on the phone, I even messed with the included foam inserts to try and get it to stop but I guess an s4 is too wide cause even with the foam off the buttons they are still constantly pressed. Overall a terrible product who's own QR code calibrations fail to even notice the lack of a outside button. Avoid this product entirely.

Awesome product. Great price. Posted by: from: on I bought this as a gift for my nephew who has been wanting to try VR for a while now and he loves it. He wasn’t sure about which apps to download at first, but he called customer service and they provided him with a full list of recommended apps. The fact that the headset is powered via smartphone makes it really easy to use and way more affordable than some of the other options I looked at.

VR Headset - Loved it! Posted by: from: on I bought this product originally based on price, but after bringing it home and using it, I find it to be way beyond my expectations. My first adventure was playing Zombie Warfare which was SO much fun. I used the remote with it to shoot the Zombies and it was a blast...could be addictive. Overall, I loved the ability to look all around and feel really IN the room with Zombies! I used it with my iPhone 6 Plus and was worried at first it might not fit....but no problem! Watched a couple of U-Tubes videos also, which worked perfectly. I really can't complain. A GREAT value for the cost.

Not equal to samsungs VR yet Posted by: from: on Not equal to samsungs VR yet. It's an ok device for kids say 10 and under they will probably love it, just don't let them see the difference with samsungs VR device. It's an ok device I would give it a 3 out of 5 it's very comfortable, it has some ok apps that are free to download a few a little glitchy though. I even paid for one app and that wasn't so bad , just lost my attention after about 45 min. I believe that's the real issue the apps to view that are not up to that of the Samsung VR viewing apps. I figure 3-6 months this product will be worth investing in even now for $30 bucks or the one for $20 without the game remote is not a bad price for what it gives you ...a little entertainment ,a look into the future of games, tv shows, movies, ppl interaction and even more, future tech is coming it seems.
