Nice Washer that sings Posted by: from: on This thing sings to you when it's done. I know that's not really anything important about how good it works but it's kind of refreshing. Reminds you of how much money you spent on it I guess. Anyway, this washer (like the dryer which will ALMOST mirror this review) has a TON of settings. You can opt to STACK them but be aware that this set is HUGE folks. I mean, you better do some measuring in your laundry room as far as doors and how the door swings, etc. before you commit. Be sure to READ the user manual thanks to all those settings too but it's worth it. ONLY thing I would change is an option to hold the door open so it can air out. You see, you can not leave the door closed because it's air tight and any sitting water will eventually rust the machine, voiding the warranty. So unless your machine is perfectly leveled, you will have to do what we did and improvise (see photo). Oh, and we bought them during a major holiday which meant $500 off. WINNING!!

A major disappointment Posted by: from: on Just had to rescheduled my repair appointment for the 3rd time. The repair Rep on the phone had a surprising news: two more parts will be needed (no one knows why it was kept from me on the first call), and they are on back order, with an unknowable delivery time! The first part (which I was told to be the only one needed on my first phone call) arrived only AFTER the initially scheduled appointment. Samsung would allow a return ONLY after making you wait for 26 days after the first attempt at repair!!! Mind you this Washer was installed only in September last year, and that is the 2nd breakdown I had to deal with. The door started leaking two weeks after installation, Repairman said it was assembled with a spring positioned improperly. Now it is a major breakdown of the drainage mechanism. Samsung thinks it is OK to make you wait for up to 26 days without laundry, so the return would not be authorized until you wait that long! Buyer beware!

Disappointing... Posted by: from: on When I was told that it would cost $400-$500 to repair a washer that I'd had for 15 years, I decided it was time for a new one. I'd been eyeing something a lot larger than what I had - I have 3 children and laundry is a beast. I went against my husband's suggestion of something cheaper... and I hate to say that he was right. I expected this washer to obliterate the dirt on the clothes. But even with the extra, extra (did I say EXTRA?) long cycles, my whites still look dingy. If I had to do over again, I'm not so sure I'd still get this machine. It's also disappointing that the iPhone app that's supposed to connect to it so I can receive notifications does NOT work. Sigh...

Time saver Posted by: from: on This machine saves so much time and work. We can now do an entire weeks laundry with just 4 loads compared to the 7 we use to do. It is great. Just be aware it is very heavy to move. Also that it does not have a right angled power cord so putting it close the the wall is difficult. This unit is deeper than our old unit and protruded out too far so we ended up purchasing a recessed outlet and right angle hoses adapters so we could put it closer to the wall. It worked out very well.

Amazing washer Posted by: from: on This washer saves me so much time and money. I am now able to wash comforters and large pillows at home. Also wash dog beds in the washer and there is no residue of dog hair. Worth the cost, and very quiet

Break Down!!!!! Posted by: from: on After having this washer for 14 months it stopped working. Called Samsung and got the run around because it was out of warranty. Received an email they said I needed to use a local repair (by the way most repairmen hate to work on them and get a lot of calls). Called them again to question them why and they wanted to see a receipt which I scanned and emailed. They said it could not be fixed (with no explanation) and the more I pressed them the more rude they became. Bottom line they said I would get a full refund. And it is not about the refund it is about the inconvenience, phone calls and waiting for their emails to process the refund.Prior to this washer had a Maytag for 16 years with no house calls will go back to them. Prior to this machine breaking down it was a great washing unit while it lasted. So you make the call. Good luck.

Fantastic Machine for Cleaning Clothes Posted by: from: on I have been very impressed with the quality and technology of the Samsung washing machine. I was skeptical if the price would bear out to be a valuable investment. My expectations have been exceeded. FYI, this device ships with the hoses needed. Do not buy another set like I did.

Very Capacitive Washer by Samsung ! Posted by: from: on This model catched my attention by its Winning Award at CES 2014. And it really does an impressive job vs. MAYTAG. For the Family odd seven it's a huge advantage. VRT really amazed me - no adjustment needed at all. Very quite operation and no "dancing" on the flee whatsoever. I almost bought just unboxes floor model, which even never been turned on - at 20% discount $1226. Local BBY were cleaning up a space for new product. But next day i was researching on it and looking fir a review by some real owners and found it on pre-sale for 4th of July at $1200. So I got Washer & Dryer less than in 48 hours installed in my laundry. Very Cute Couple. Great job by Samsung.

Great washer for large and small loads Posted by: from: Lake Orion, MI on Well we needed to upgrade our washing machine so that the dog beds could be easily washed and I gotta say I am very impressed with this washer. It handles the extra large dog beds with ease and large comforters. We haven't upgraded the dryer yet, but I can see that we will need to because if you wash a full load of clothes don't expect to dry that entire load in a normal size dryer. We have to split it into two loads for the dryer. So what we've done until then is just do enough laundry in a load that the dryer can handle for now. Which is no big deal since the washer senses the load size and still uses the appropriate amount of water to wash thereby preventing waste of extra water. We purchased the stand for it and even though it's pricey, it's worth every penny to not have to bend down. It's a large washer. You don't realize how big until it's sitting next to a normal size washer or dryer! Highly recommend.

Dirty Laundry Posted by: from: on I did a ton of research before purchasing. Never been happier with a washing machine like this before! Cleans clothes very efficiently, can do extra large loads very thoroughly, as well. A consumer reports top pick and a happy customer. Love all the extra settings and the finish. Extra quiet. Only con was the price. But I've learned you get what you pay for!
