Junk, junk, junk1 Posted by: from: on Bought this washer because of its large tub size and its exterior finish, unfortunately after 29 days it flooded my house!!! The hose clamps came off of the bottom of the tub during the rinse cycle and the washer was continuing to try to fill with water... Thankfully we were home at the time and were able to minimize the water damage. At this point I have a bad taste in my mouth for Samsung appliances because not only did our washer have problems in less then a month, our dryer started squeaking too!!! Done, done, done!! Went with whirlpool, hopefully they will be better!!

Poor quality and support from Samsung1 Posted by: from: on You are looking at a 8 month old $1200 washing machine. The quasi "stainless steel" laminate they used on the inside above the drum is peeling. After spending several hours of filling out online requests, submitting photos, receipts and speaking with at least 6 people the bottom line is... Samsung does not cover "cosmetic damage", however I would classify this as defective due to the adhesive not withstanding normal use. This is my first and last Samsung appliance purchase

Very Happy Customer5 Posted by: from: on I have been very pleased with my new Samsung - 5.6 Cu. Ft. 15-Cycle High-Efficiency Steam Top-Loading Washer. After having used a top-loading HE Maytag Bravos for several years I didn't think I would find a washer that I was more pleased with but this one has definitely out preformed the Maytag. The tub is so huge I can do bigger loads so I get my laundry done quicker but still feel like the clothes are cleaner. I love the AquaJet feature and the Niagra Wash! I would definitely recommend this washer!!!!

Horrible Washer flooded my house and damaged floor1 Posted by: from: Carmel, IN on Wow what a piece of junk! WE fought with Best Buy for months to return this item. We even purchased the Geek Squad warranty even though Samsung warranty was still in affect the Geek Squad came out numerous times but the washer never worked properly form day one. So much for 2 comforters or 20 pair jeans! It can't handle one comforter without it stopping and taking 4 hours to get thru a cycle! To top it off it flooded out brand new hardwoods! Samsung won't return our calls and Best Buy puts the blame on them. After a huge battle we still don't have our floors fixed. All Best Buy would do was give us a credit for washer and dryer. WE had to go spend money to get Fisher Paykel Washer and dryer since Best Buy doesnt carry than brand. Anyone looking of the most amazing W & D these are way to go! The wash cycle and a dry cycle ends at same time so you can get thru laundry so much better. Oh ya side note Samsung sent their guy out once and said oh this until can't handle 20 pair of jeans or 2 comforters. I said that's funny because Samsungs website says it does!

Love, Love, Love It5 Posted by: from: on I had a 13 year old agitator machine that died. I knew I wanted a HE big capacity and decided to try the Samsung after reading the reviews. I am not disappointed. It's huge! We spent a weekend at the lake and I was able to wash everything in 2 loads (white and dark) and I had plenty of room to spare. I know there were people who commented on the depth of the washer but I think they're kind of off. It's deep but at 5'7 I can easily reach in and get the clothes. I think even at 5'4 or 5'5 it would be easy. 5'3 and under might need a stool but that would be with any of the new top load washers. If you're short you know it and make adjustments. Simple enough. It cleans like a dream and is so much quieter than the old machine. I can leave my laundry room door open and barely hear it! I would recommend this machine to even my pickiest friends. (I opted for white because it was $200 cheaper and the color didn't matter to me.) I would caution you to measure, measure, measure. It barely fits depth wise in my wash room and my space isn't small. It sticks out almost too much to close the door. I didn't measure because I knew I had the room width wise. I had to sweet talk the delivery guys into trying to get it in. It fit with very little room to spare. So word to the wise is to measure width and depth.
