There are 11 preset drying cycles, 5 dryness levels, and 4 temperature settings to choose from. Use the digital LED controls and indicators to set up and check the status of each load.
Ditch the dry cleaners. This powerful option eliminates odors, freshens clothes, and leaves items smooth and wrinkle-free. Plus, you can skip the manual refill process because the cycle takes care of that on its own.
Protect each piece. This cycle automatically shuts off the appliance when clothes are dry, to avoid any damages from excessive heat.
Smart Care app
Control your dryer from anywhere. This app will alert you if there’s a problem, then walk you through any actions needed to solve it. Download for iOS or Android smartphones.
Depend on a durable dryer. The powder coat interior can be wiped clean for easy maintenance.
Keep kids safe. Turn the child lock on and the dryer door and buttons won’t respond, so kids won’t be able to use it without you.
Electric cord and vent kit are sold separately and are not included.
Required for Installation: All electric dryer purchases require a 3- or 4-prong power cord be purchased from Best Buy. If a power cord is not purchased, your delivery will be drop-off only. Find a power cord in the accessories section on this page.

I bought a new Samsung washer and dryer to replace an older Whirlpool. 15 months into and the dryer quits heating. This is at the beginning of the month and I can not get an appointment till the beginning of the next month for service from Best Buy. So I hire an independent who came highly recommended. After completely dismantling the dryer and cleaning it, it still does not heat. Have replaced all the parts and still not working. After 15 months it just quits working, ridiculous. Never again buying a Samsung. Oh and FYI...a daughter has my old Whirlpool (10 years old or so) and still working great.

Seems to be working good so far.

The first time I turned it on it gave me an error that wasn't listed in the owners manual... that was weird. This worried me for a bit. However I turned it "off and on again" and it has worked fine ever since. I will continue to keep an eye on it. It seems to dry clothes really well (my former dryer I had to turn it on three times whenever I washed jeans this one I just set to heavy duty and they are dried in one shot). Also as a note, if you are installing it yourself... This model requires water for the steam functions to work (actually it might require it to be hooked up regardless; I have not tried it without it being hooked up). So make sure you have a water pipe close enough to use it. My dryer is by the washer so I used a y split adapter so they both use the same water intake.

Please research before you buy Samsung Products

I will admit, I have had a Samsung dryer for 5 years so far but I don't use it heavily - maybe once a week if that. During the first 3 years, the belt broke and I had to replace it (easy fix, but annoying). Two years have gone by and now it seems that the metal drum is coming apart at the seams (literally - there's a large crack in the seam - see photo). That crack is causing the drum to be out of round and the dryer makes a loud thumping noise on each revolution.
When I say research, look for this specific problem and you will find literally thousands of reports and videos of the same thing happening with Samsung products. Now, I am faced with the issue to repair (at a cost of $400+) or cutting my losses and replacing it with something else. I started the research into replacing with a different brand and it seems LG dryers have having some of the same issue. Samsung will do absolutely NOTHING for you outside of the warranty.
Do NOT purchase a Samsung dryer.

The Steam cycle works wonders as long as you have a full load. If not, your shirt or pants will be wet upon cycle completion.

Waste of Money

I bought this dryer last year, and now it will not heat up. I've spent almost $200 trying to get it repaired with no luck. It was not overused as it is only my husband and I that live in our house. Don't waste your money on such an expensive dryer where it will stop working after only one year of normal use!

FIRST, BESTBUY WAS VERY UNHELPFUL!!! This dryer was delivered to my house 7/10 on August 5th it stopped working. The dryer does not heat up at all on any setting. I called Samsung the following day, I spent and hour and half on the phone with them and they could not get a tech to my house and sooner than Aug.14th!!! I have 4 kids!! I think the fact that it broke that soon they should offer to give me a refund or send me a new dryer!!!! Now they're going to start taking it apart and who knows what will happen after that!!! I can't even believe that for the cost of this dryer I am experiencing all of these issues!!!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FOR BESTBUY OR SAMSUNG AGAIN!

We have been using this dryer for a little over two months and it has been working alright. The only issues I have seen with it, it's that the humidity sensor sometimes doesn't work right. It ends the drying cycle thinking that the clothes are not humid anymore, when in reality, they're still humid.

Great silent dryer

I am owning this for couple of months. If you put single or fill the dryer with cloths. End result is well dried cloths. I love this dryer it doesn't make sound. If you have washer room in the second floor. Then you should go for this. It has lots of option. Good value for the money.

Looks great and makes laundry enjoyable! It dries thoroughly can handle large loads like comforters and bedding. The sanitize and steam cycles make my laundry have a fresh, clean smell. I don't even use softener anymore because everything comes out so soft. I even like the pleasant sound it makes when it's done. My favorite thing is the cycle that refreshes and unwrinkles with steam. I haven't had to iron anything since I've purchased this bad boy. It's expensive, but worth it.
