Saw: The Final Chapter The Saw series continues with this seventh entry, spearheaded by returning Saw VI director Kevin Greutert. Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton also are back to pen the script, which details the exploits of serial killer Jigsaw's surviving victims, who seek counseling from a self-help mentor (Sean Patrick Flanery) whose past as a previous victim figures directly into each one's fate. Cary Elwes returns to the franchise for the first time since his character survived Jigsaw's first cinematic outing in 2004. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, Rovi
3D blu-ray for just 5 dollars more

The 3D isn't exactly IMAX 3D (where the entire movie pops out) but I was planning to buy the blu-ray anyways and for just 5 dollars more I could get 3D Blu-ray. Overall the movie was good it had a twisted ending like all the others ones. Bottom line if you wanted save money get the DVD if you want HD quality just get 3D blu-ray.

I am a huge fan of the Saw movie franchise I own all six and will own "The final Chapter" this is one of the best films in the series. Like all the rest it ties all the pieces together. and what Saw film would be complete without something taking you by surprise ? A great movie series that i'm sad to see go but all good things must come to an end.

Best of the whole series

If it wasnt for Sean Patrick Flanery, the return of Carey Elwes, and then the whole Costas Mandylor storyline this movie would not have gone anywhere. They did a great job with the new plot and the new ways of killing the victims. This is a must have must see movie.

Get it today you'll be glad you did and you will be happy you listened to me.

I dont even know where to begin. The start of the movie, with the girl..i mean c'mon. Besides looking like it was shot with a decent home camcorder, it just didnt even seem to flow with the rest of the movie. The filtering, framing, color balance, etc...everything was just different.
Then...the plot of the movie just made no sense whatsoever.
What a horrendous way to end a modern classic horror franchise. I am just so dissapointed.

Great deal!!!!! Must have if you have a 3d tv
Posted by: groundbrandon from: Phoenix, AZ on
Okay so I rented the movie on the playstation store the non- 3d makes you wonder what the 3d looks like. So when I received this little gem not only did it come with a copy for itunes that works on your ipod but an extra dvd.....you can watch it in 3d which is amazing or the non-2d verison......I only have one playstation 3 but the dvd copy is great for my other tv's!!!! Plus with itunes you can share it over to different computers and ipods. Let's face it the first Saw was amazing! But, we all know us true horror fans with put up with crazy spin off like Jason X. I don't think that was a bad movie heck when they shot him off in outer space I never laughed so hard!!! This movie does a great job of explaining everything! The only saw I wasn't crazy about was the 3rd one........which to me had way to many scenes of the first and 2nd one! it's like come on your using way to much of previous footage! This one is all new footage so whenever they come out with a Saw now where 1/3rd of the movie is not replays of the previous films I'm like yay!!!! Where else are you going to get 4 copies of the movie??? One 3d and One 2d on the first Disc then the DVD copy then a coupon for the down load on itunes come on how is this not value? I brought other 3d movies and they didn't have half the extra's!!! I cannot spoil all the extras but if your at best buy look at the back of the disc......If, your truly a Saw fans the extras alone will suck you in!!!

No way this was shot in 3D!

Okay let me be the 1st to write a review to warn folks (run away from this one as fast as you can) although they shot this movie in 3D, with that said I thought the movie was going to be real good turns out Nahh!! Not so much. Okay the opening scene was pretty cool & there's mayb like 6 poppouts ( but not enough popouts for me. If there's anyone who's reading this that knows a producer, director , make-up artist .Etc.. Plzzz tell them we need better 3D stop trying to make a quick buck & waste movie goers time & money.. We know when the directors are pushing that 3D window WIDE OPEN... If you have ESPN 3D then you know what I mean ... ( ohh movie directors take a page out of ESPNS Book Spend Some $$$$$$$$!! In
your product make it better not worst ...Okay!! Now there's Bad acting, more gore typical saw ..I still like SAW 1,2,3 but the rest was not done right @ all.. hey they just wanted to close the saw chapter what better
way then 3D.. But they Fail.
