Excellent Sound

Posted by: jww100 from on 03/25/2016I searched quite a while for my next pair of headphones. I wanted it to be wired, wireless and noise cancelling. A lot to ask for. I checked out headphones that had some of the features and found some nice ones for sale (I have Sony wireless) checked out Bose and Beats. But the Sennheiser Momentum wireless had all of the features, was comfortable and great sound. Battery lasts a long time (20+ hours), easy to pair. I use them daily and they are comfortable for a few hours at a time. Only negative is that the could clamp a little tighter to keep out a little more noise.

Top Choice Wireless Over-Ear Headphones

Unlike many of the reviews I've read over the past 2 months, I have no need to impress anyone concerning my knowledge or lack thereof concerning audiophile equipment. What you really want to know is why I chose these cans over Bose, Sony, Beats, Skull Candy, JBL....etc. I can tell you I've tried each of these and higher priced cans from bang and olufsen and others. I chose senns mo 2 for 3 reasons; 1. They are wireless 2.NFC pairing 3. Dude, they sound great! That being said....they are not the best sounding over the ear set I've heard. Um.... Yeah. Just bear with me a second. For $400.00 bucks most people are thinking the product should be perfection... Get real kids. In the world of upscale (premium) audio these guys are entry level. Prosumers will rant and rave about their beats or whatever the flavor of the day is 'and they are right. The choice of phones you get is entirely subjective. These senns are clean sounding, feature rich, and sound super either wireless or corded. And that's reason number 4....oops guess I really have 4 reasons. I have 400 buck to spend on headphones and they are well md3pls a 2 year warranty standard. They pair with my iPad pro, Samsung note 4 edge, and every other Bluetooth device I own. If you don't have 400 plus dollars to spend, get what you love and can afford. Above all be content. Ok details: excellent bass response, sub-base, mids and treble. Unless you are a musician or mix in the studio you probably can Barely tell thedifference between these and a pair of beats which are bass heavy and kind of a mess above that frequency range. They feel great and look great. Fantastic build quality and plenty loud. Louder when corded. And don't forget to twist the cable when it is attached or you will only sound out of 1 side. If you want something better maybe you shouldn't be at Best Buy. Go to the store and listen. You'll love them

Comfortable, good sound; so-so noise cancellation

Posted by: JeffSinSFO from San Francisco, CA on 02/05/2016Prior to buying these, I have had numerous other Sennheiser headphones (280, 598, 580) and earbuds as well as some headphones and earbuds from other manufacturers. Most recently I had been using Bose headphones at the gym because I just don't like having a cord between my head and my phone while I'm exercising. The Bose sounded good (better than I expected given my previous experience with Bose), but after a while I found myself getting tired of their excessive upper midrange/treble boost. Given that Sennheiser generally leans towards the neutral - if not warm -- side, I thought I might like the M2 better. In a nutshell, I do like these quite a lot more than the Bose headphones. Are they the best headphones I've ever heard? No. They definitely sound a bit better wired without the noise cancellation on, but I didn't get them for that sort of situation. Even though the noise cancellation and bluetooth technology make the sound signature a bit less detailed and more bright, these still sound quite good. Would I recommend these at their full price if you DON'T need bluetooth or noise cancellation? No. You can get better sounding alternatives for less money. These are quite satisfactory for the gym (as long as you understand that you will sweat onto the earcups so you'll likely need to replace the pads every so often). I can wear these for two hours or so and not feel uncomfortable.

Great headphone

Posted by: DennisKuang from on 01/17/2016I think the headphone is great if you want noise cancellation but not so noise cancellation. The "white" noise is minor and good for flight ride. If you want "full" noise cancellation headphone, you may want something else. I also had he Bose QC25. Great noise cancellation but ear feel tied after awhile. This headphone doesn't make me feel tired after 3 hours of continued music.

Real sound

Excellent sound as of course many MP3 and iTunes music are compressed music formats. It runs on rechargeable battery for about 25 hours. Connected with Bluetooth, you can control volume and tracks via the headphone.

The battery life is long and the comfort factor for me is great, light and stable on my head. The sound it produces is extremely agreeable for me as well. I had to save up some money for several months to be able to afford them, but I believe I made a good decision in my purchase. I like the noise cancelling feature and the fact that it has 4.0 Bluetooth connectivity, NFC too for my android phone. I wish I had a media device to try out the AptX coding feature, but maybe in the future. I absolutely enjoy everything about these headphones.

Best wireless headphones you can buy.

Posted by: disarray from on 12/10/2015This are my new favorite headphones... and the best sounding and most comfortable I have owned, including some older wired Sennheiser's I had. The Bluetooth is great and fast to connect. The buttons are easy to use and easy to find without having to take the headphones off. I have a pretty big head, and a lot of headphones squeeze me too tight.. which means they get uncomfortable over time... no so with these... I can hardly tell they are there.. and they adjust so well that they don't move when I am walking around the house. Bluetooth range is great.. I haven't found the upper limit.. but I can comfortably walk around my living room / kitchen without a single hiccup.
