Love it...But I keep this lens on my camera at all times indoors so I can finally catch those shots of the kids running around being adorable or doing something goofy and not have to worry about flash or overexposed pictures or out of focus pictures because the kit lens was not able to keep up or was not open wide enough to take a good shot.

Plus, the f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for creating softly blurred backgrounds and shooting in low light.
THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE LENS GETS HEAVY WITH TIME BUT I USE A MONOPOD WHICH HELPS RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.

Nice Lense...I have gone to a few events(airshows, sporting events) and this was the main lens I used, I found that the image quality was decent, but when I zoomed into the picture on my computer, the edges of the subject were colored blue, purple, green, or yellow 80% of the time....Omg, this is a great lens that came as my package deal on my Canon camera I purchases on Black Friday and totally worth the money!

Good Lens....For entry level though I strongly recommend having something beyond the base 16-50 which is basically the lens you get with a point and shoot....I got this in a package bundle on black friday so it was relatively free.
