Love it ....Best bang!...Although it's sharp, remaining so for the most part until it's wide open, it has some distortion and is not as rectalinear - meaning straight lines appear straight - as I'd like, which is to be expected at this price point, and can be corrected in software....But I keep this lens on my camera at all times indoors so I can finally catch those shots of the kids running around being adorable or doing something goofy and not have to worry about flash or overexposed pictures or out of focus pictures because the kit lens was not able to keep up or was not open wide enough to take a good shot....I found 35mm to be adequate, but of course, people are used to having zoom lens and around 28mm type lens when you are taking pictures of your friends and family... You still find yourself moving few steps backwards when you are about to take portrait shots.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: Whether you're a beginner or professional, you'll love this compact, lightweight lens from Nikon. The normal angle of view captures approximately what the human eye sees, making it a great all-around lens. Plus, the f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for creating softly blurred backgrounds and shooting in low light.
Awesome !...Worth it....This lens allows me to take shots I simply would not be able to take with the standard 18-55 lens....It works perfect for me especially when taking action shots at sports events, or even just of my dogs out in the yard....I have only been able to use this lens two times, but it is great to take pictures of my children from afar.
Designed for use with Nikon DX-format DSLR cameras with an F-Mount, this Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 20050 telephoto zoom lens features an SIC (super integrated coating) and ED (extra-low dispersion) glass to help you capture sharp photos and videos.
Great zoom....Good zoom....This lens can handle almost every situation, so it saves me time and the hassle of changing a lens and maybe missing a shot!...This is a sturdy, affordable lens with a metal mount and is great for shooting family events and works well as a travel lens....I bought this lens because I used 35-135 which was not a digital lens and I could not be happier images are crisp and it is a good all around lens.
With VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilization and an SWM (Silent Wave Motor), this Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR zoom lens enables you to capture clear wide-angle and telephoto images. The auto, manual and auto/manual focus modes enable simple operation.
Nice lens...Good zoom....I have gone to a few events(airshows, sporting events) and this was the main lens I used, I found that the image quality was decent, but when I zoomed into the picture on my computer, the edges of the subject were colored blue, purple, green, or yellow 80% of the time....Use the auto focus when you do not want to adjust it yourself, other than that go wild with the other features the camera has to help you take great pictures....upon purchasing this lens, I forgot to make sure it had image stabilization (which upon further research is a much much more expensive option) so ended up using my 55-250mm kit lens more often.
Canon EF 75–300mm f/4–5.6 III Telephoto Zoom Lens: An ideal lens for photography enthusiasts who want to take their creativity to the next level, this telephoto zoom lens provides a long focal reach for taking close-ups shots from a distance. Take action shots while sitting on the sidelines at games and events, photograph wildlife without getting too close and capture incredible details on your next vacation.
Good lens....Nice lens!...absolutely love this lens this lens pictures come out great if you are looking to upgrade it is worth the money to upgrade I love it better then stock lens must buy...It is a great lens and the price of it allows me to throw it in my bag and carry it along without worrying about breaking something very expensive....It does not really sharpen up fully until f - 2.8, but we do not buy this lens to shoot it at f - 2.8 -- we buy it so we can shoot in really low light or to get maximum bokeh at f - 1.4.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light without needing a flash. It's excellent for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.
Great lens....Great Len....I absolutely love my lens, great for portraits, low light shoots, sports, weddings where you do not need to be so close to your subject give them enough space....Dont let anyone tell you that the L series lenses are not worth the extra money or theres no difference to them because there lying. This lens shoots such crisp images and focuses so fast, its awesome for sports which I have used for baseball pictures and to see the dirt particles from a player sliding into a base is just incredible. It also shoots super in low light condition and when paired with the 1.4 extender, youve got quite a lens....For me this means being able to get bright blur free images of my 4 year old's dance recital in a dark auditorium without using a flash (at higher ISO settings).
Canon EF 70–200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens This telephoto zoom lens is an essential tool for professional photographers and skilled amateurs. The variable focal length makes it useful for photographing a broad range of subjects, and the 2.8 maximum aperture functions well in low-light situations. Snap candid portraits, stop the action at sporting events or compose wedding photos with exceptional blurred backgrounds.
Worth it!...Best lens....The # 1 comment I have received when people look at the photos is "I can not believe how close you were to the animals" - now I am brave but not that brave!!...I am very pleased with the ease of use (it does not require me to know anything more or operate the camera any differently than the standard lens) and the image quality has been great in the limited opportunities I have had to use it to date....I picked this lens up to fill a gap until I replace my 2.8f lens, and was pleased with the quality of shots and the amount of light it picks up at night on a baseball field.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55–300mm f/4.5–5.6G ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens: Be ready for almost any shot with this Nikon telephoto zoom lens. Lightweight and versatile, this lens captures crisp images even from a distance, allowing you to take sports photos from the bleachers and extend your reach for landscape and wildlife photography. Vibration reduction technology smooths out images for blur-free panning and still photography.
Love it....Good one...Ask any SLR shooter, a nifty fifty prime lens has always been in their arsenal from the time they moved up from a kodak (or a smartphone)! Some plastic in this one but it has not let me down....Not much new to say, that others have not already, but itt creates excellent bokeh, Perfect as an everyday lens for landscapes, portraits, dim environments, astrophotography etc....The only reason to jump to another 50 mm lens is the two f/1.4's give you 2/3 of a stop more light, as otherwise the f/1.4G is slower to focus and not as sharp until you stop it down, and when shooting wide open is subject to sagittal coma flare, and the f/1.4D's optical formula is from the 1970's and also needs to be stopped down.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: A perfect everyday lens for any photographer, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G offers fast autofocusing combined with an integrated lens coating to deliver clear and crisp images. The wide-open aperture is ideal for low-light shooting and creating images with beautiful background blur.
Very sharp....Nice lens....40mm is a good all around focal length for street photography where you do not want to be as noticeable with a much longer zoom lens screaming "DSLR" (my other main lens is the 18-135mm)....Now I can carry this pancake lens in my pocket, and when packing the gear into a small bag use it instead of a camera body cap, while having the camera ready for a surprise opportunity....It's also great to use instead of the larger lenses when you want to take pictures without being overly obstructive and do not require a great deal of zooming.
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Standard Lens: This standard Canon lens offers high-quality image capturing in a small, lightweight lens body, making it a great companion in crowds and public spaces. Its versatile features and easy portability make it especially suited for basic travel, portraits and memento shots.
nice lense...Is good....A prime is always a good way to go, but the telephoto capabilities were important for many of my close-up and extreme close-up shots required for a few scenes....This zoom lens is a must have to carry along with for some great snaps or as I like to say, if you are going to be out and about with a little comotion going on whatever that may be, and you do not want to be bothered swapping out lenses, yes, hook this one up and you will be good to go for the event!!...The build is very solid, but the weight will certainly not go unnoticed if you are comparing to the plastic lenses that generally come with SLR kits.
Canon EF 70–300mm f/4–5.6 IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens: If you're looking for a lens that gets you close to the action, this versatile telephoto zoom lens provides a longer reach for sports, weddings and events, nature photography and more. It's equipped with an image stabilizer, so you can create sharp photos and video while using slower shutter speeds. And when you're not shooting, the zoom lock button lets you keep the lens securely fixed in place.
Love it....New Fave...50mm is a good focal length for portraits though, and this lens can focus on something as close as a foot away from the camera so you can get some good closeups....the lens is nice but takes much better outdoor then indoor shots which is a little upsetting since I bought it for my indoor shots but overall it seems to be a good lens just not as awesome I had heard it was....I am definitely more of a dedicated hobbyist than a pro shooter, but I have been thrilled with the performance of this lens so far and impressed with the photo quality and functionality overall!
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens: Capture important moments in your life with this standard lens, which works with your compatible Canon DSLR EF-mount camera. A circular aperture with 7 blades helps you add creative background blur.
Great buy....Great Lens...It performed great wide open @2.8 and did even better @4 I use it all the time for everything from "macro" (with extension) to portraits of my boys....I am currently a photography student with much experience and I would recommend this to any level photographer - videographer because of the great price and awesome punch this little lens packs....This is a very handy little lens... most people refer to the "nifty fifty" 50mm f/2.8 as being a trusty 'always in your camera bag lens', but for anyone shooting with a CMOS sensor, this is really an ideal lens for you in order to capture amazing close-up or portrait photos and get that silky smooth bokeh that everyone looks to capture.
Capture stunning images of wide perspectives with this Canon 9522B002 EF-S wide-angle lens that features an aspheric lens element for high image quality from the center to the edges. The circular, 7-blade aperture delivers soft backgrounds.
Great zoom!...Thank you....I already had 18-140 mm and this addition is awesome and I can clearly see a huge difference in the telephoto feature with 70-300, perfect for wildlife photography....As an added benefit this lens was designed for a full frame camera, so in the future if I decide to step up to such a camera, I can still use the lens....The results so far have been great, the lense has the right amount of range and the 300mm max zoom really gives us the results that we are looking for as far as close ups.
Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70–300mm f/4.5–5.6G IF-ED Telephoto Zoom Lens: Leave the tripod at home and create stunning still images and HD videos from any distance with this Nikon telephoto zoom lens. The versatile focal length allows you to capture intricately detailed photos of sports events, wildlife and distant scenery. Vibration reduction technology reduces blur caused by camera shake for crystal clear handheld photos and action shots.
Great lens...Good item...I researched camera lenses for my wife (a real estate agent) to take pictures of interior rooms and a wide angled lense was recommended as a must for agents....It's not as large an aperture as I'd like and I am not that fond of plastic mounts, but it's hard to argue with a wide-angle lens on an APSC for that price....For the price this is a good lens; although I find that the edges of the picture tend to be a little darker than it would be with the regular lens, but it is an easy fix with some editing.
With an STM (stepping motor) and focus mechanism, this Canon EF-S 9519B002 zoom lens allows you to record ultrasharp videos or capture crisp photos using your compatible Canon camera. The UD lens element helps you take highly realistic images.
Great buy...Great Len....But over all I like this lens for a starter lens, but would recommend the combination lens over this one, if you have a choice and the money, but as I said this one came with the bundle....The image quality is good but is certainly not going to rival a high-end lens like the Canon 70-200 L. I am please with this lens....I prefer this lens compared to the 70-300 because this lens has stabilization built in and because its a telephoto, you do not have to get really close to the subject and still get AMAZING quality.
Snap sharp, vibrant photos at a distance with this Canon EF-S 8546B002 telephoto lens, which features a 55-250mm focal length for flexible zooming and optical image stabilization to reduce the effects of camera shake.
