Worth it!...Best lens....Nice focal length for outdoor nature photography hikes....The # 1 comment I have received when people look at the photos is "I can not believe how close you were to the animals" - now I am brave but not that brave!!...I am very pleased with the ease of use (it does not require me to know anything more or operate the camera any differently than the standard lens) and the image quality has been great in the limited opportunities I have had to use it to date....I picked this lens up to fill a gap until I replace my 2.8f lens, and was pleased with the quality of shots and the amount of light it picks up at night on a baseball field.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55–300mm f/4.5–5.6G ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens: Be ready for almost any shot with this Nikon telephoto zoom lens. Vibration reduction technology smooths out images for blur-free panning and still photography.
Love it....New Fave...The prime focal length is great for walking around letting you focus on exposures and lighting....50mm is a good focal length for portraits though, and this lens can focus on something as close as a foot away from the camera so you can get some good closeups....the lens is nice but takes much better outdoor then indoor shots which is a little upsetting since I bought it for my indoor shots but overall it seems to be a good lens just not as awesome I had heard it was....I am definitely more of a dedicated hobbyist than a pro shooter, but I have been thrilled with the performance of this lens so far and impressed with the photo quality and functionality overall!
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens: Capture important moments in your life with this standard lens, which works with your compatible Canon DSLR EF-mount camera. A circular aperture with 7 blades helps you add creative background blur.
Good lens....Nice lens!...Great focal length for portraits and street photography....absolutely love this lens this lens pictures come out great if you are looking to upgrade it is worth the money to upgrade I love it better then stock lens must buy...It is a great lens and the price of it allows me to throw it in my bag and carry it along without worrying about breaking something very expensive....It does not really sharpen up fully until f - 2.8, but we do not buy this lens to shoot it at f - 2.8 -- we buy it so we can shoot in really low light or to get maximum bokeh at f - 1.4.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light without needing a flash. It's excellent for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.
Love it ....Best bang!...Great Fixed Focal Length...Although it's sharp, remaining so for the most part until it's wide open, it has some distortion and is not as rectalinear - meaning straight lines appear straight - as I'd like, which is to be expected at this price point, and can be corrected in software....But I keep this lens on my camera at all times indoors so I can finally catch those shots of the kids running around being adorable or doing something goofy and not have to worry about flash or overexposed pictures or out of focus pictures because the kit lens was not able to keep up or was not open wide enough to take a good shot....I found 35mm to be adequate, but of course, people are used to having zoom lens and around 28mm type lens when you are taking pictures of your friends and family... You still find yourself moving few steps backwards when you are about to take portrait shots.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: Whether you're a beginner or professional, you'll love this compact, lightweight lens from Nikon. The normal angle of view captures approximately what the human eye sees, making it a great all-around lens. Plus, the f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for creating softly blurred backgrounds and shooting in low light.
Great zoom....Good zoom....Great wide range of focal lengths....This lens can handle almost every situation, so it saves me time and the hassle of changing a lens and maybe missing a shot!...This is a sturdy, affordable lens with a metal mount and is great for shooting family events and works well as a travel lens....I bought this lens because I used 35-135 which was not a digital lens and I could not be happier images are crisp and it is a good all around lens.
With VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilization and an SWM (Silent Wave Motor), this Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR zoom lens enables you to capture clear wide-angle and telephoto images. The auto, manual and auto/manual focus modes enable simple operation.
Great buy...Great Len....Canon - EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Select Canon Cameras - Black Snap sharp, vibrant photos at a distance with this Canon EF-S 8546B002 telephoto lens, which features a 55-250mm focal length for flexible zooming and optical image stabilization to reduce the effects of camera shake.is very very good...But over all I like this lens for a starter lens, but would recommend the combination lens over this one, if you have a choice and the money, but as I said this one came with the bundle....The image quality is good but is certainly not going to rival a high-end lens like the Canon 70-200 L. I am please with this lens....I prefer this lens compared to the 70-300 because this lens has stabilization built in and because its a telephoto, you do not have to get really close to the subject and still get AMAZING quality.
Snap sharp, vibrant photos at a distance with this Canon EF-S 8546B002 telephoto lens, which features a 55-250mm focal length for flexible zooming and optical image stabilization to reduce the effects of camera shake.
Great zoom!...Thank you....Great flexibility for longer focal lengths....I already had 18-140 mm and this addition is awesome and I can clearly see a huge difference in the telephoto feature with 70-300, perfect for wildlife photography....As an added benefit this lens was designed for a full frame camera, so in the future if I decide to step up to such a camera, I can still use the lens....The results so far have been great, the lense has the right amount of range and the 300mm max zoom really gives us the results that we are looking for as far as close ups.

Great buy....Great Lens...It is the perfect focal length for scenic photos 24mm on full frame and 36mm on your apsc sensor....It performed great wide open @2.8 and did even better @4 I use it all the time for everything from "macro" (with extension) to portraits of my boys....I am currently a photography student with much experience and I would recommend this to any level photographer - videographer because of the great price and awesome punch this little lens packs....This is a very handy little lens... most people refer to the "nifty fifty" 50mm f/2.8 as being a trusty 'always in your camera bag lens', but for anyone shooting with a CMOS sensor, this is really an ideal lens for you in order to capture amazing close-up or portrait photos and get that silky smooth bokeh that everyone looks to capture.
Capture stunning images of wide perspectives with this Canon 9522B002 EF-S wide-angle lens that features an aspheric lens element for high image quality from the center to the edges. The circular, 7-blade aperture delivers soft backgrounds.
Great lens!...Good Lens...Pictures are very sharp at any focal length....This lens is perfect when you want to just carry one lens with you while having a range of close to zoom....I recently purchase this lens for my Nikon camera and I love it cause it can shoot near and far pics....This lens is great in that it covers the full range of focal lengths, has Vibration Reduction, and its quick Auto Focus capability makes using Live View a snap.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28–300mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR Standard Zoom Lens: This lens lets you photograph a scene from multiple perspectives, whether you aim to capture the expanse of a bridge or the flight of a bird. The minimum focusing distance of 18 inches lets you can zero in close on your subjects. Its lightweight build and versatility make it an excellent lens for travel photography.
Love it....Good one...great lens for a fixed focal length...Ask any SLR shooter, a nifty fifty prime lens has always been in their arsenal from the time they moved up from a kodak (or a smartphone)! Some plastic in this one but it has not let me down....Not much new to say, that others have not already, but itt creates excellent bokeh, Perfect as an everyday lens for landscapes, portraits, dim environments, astrophotography etc....The only reason to jump to another 50 mm lens is the two f/1.4's give you 2/3 of a stop more light, as otherwise the f/1.4G is slower to focus and not as sharp until you stop it down, and when shooting wide open is subject to sagittal coma flare, and the f/1.4D's optical formula is from the 1970's and also needs to be stopped down.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: A perfect everyday lens for any photographer, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G offers fast autofocusing combined with an integrated lens coating to deliver clear and crisp images. The wide-open aperture is ideal for low-light shooting and creating images with beautiful background blur.
great lens....Wonderful lens....The focal length is ideal for rapid composition....The micro feature on this lens is over looked but a stand out in it self the image quality and the ability is out standing....This lens is miles above the 28-135 IS, it's built much better feels better in your hands, and the controls are a delight to work with....First time I took the lense out, I swear that what I was seeing on lcd was noticably sharper, more deeply saturaed, just better than I was used to seeing.
Canon EF 24–105mm f/4L IS USM Standard Zoom Lens: Designed for professionals as well as advanced amateur photographers, this sophisticated lens with Ultrasonic Motor and a Super-UD glass element takes stunning pictures with incredible detail.
Great lens....Great Len....Good lens with useful focal lengths...I absolutely love my lens, great for portraits, low light shoots, sports, weddings where you do not need to be so close to your subject give them enough space....Dont let anyone tell you that the L series lenses are not worth the extra money or theres no difference to them because there lying. This lens shoots such crisp images and focuses so fast, its awesome for sports which I have used for baseball pictures and to see the dirt particles from a player sliding into a base is just incredible. It also shoots super in low light condition and when paired with the 1.4 extender, youve got quite a lens....For me this means being able to get bright blur free images of my 4 year old's dance recital in a dark auditorium without using a flash (at higher ISO settings).
Canon EF 70–200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens This telephoto zoom lens is an essential tool for professional photographers and skilled amateurs. The variable focal length makes it useful for photographing a broad range of subjects, and the 2.8 maximum aperture functions well in low-light situations. Snap candid portraits, stop the action at sporting events or compose wedding photos with exceptional blurred backgrounds.
Very sharp....Nice lens....Great fixed focal length lens....40mm is a good all around focal length for street photography where you do not want to be as noticeable with a much longer zoom lens screaming "DSLR" (my other main lens is the 18-135mm)....Now I can carry this pancake lens in my pocket, and when packing the gear into a small bag use it instead of a camera body cap, while having the camera ready for a surprise opportunity....It's also great to use instead of the larger lenses when you want to take pictures without being overly obstructive and do not require a great deal of zooming.
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Standard Lens: This standard Canon lens offers high-quality image capturing in a small, lightweight lens body, making it a great companion in crowds and public spaces. Its versatile features and easy portability make it especially suited for basic travel, portraits and memento shots.
Good one....Great lens...Great lens for medium to far focal lengths...And surprise Strohm a magnification this little legs does on the new Sony camera meet my Canon lenses , Would highly recommend this to any new Sony camera that uses the E lenses...I bought the sony alpha a6000 camera a few months before buying the lens and realized that the lens it came with did not have much of a zoom on it....I had fun playing with it on a recent trip and got some amazing photos with crisp detail in the front and the beautiful blur in the background.
Designed for use with most Sony Alpha E-mount cameras, this Sony SEL55210/B telephoto lens features Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, so you can capture images in crisp detail. The 2 ED (extra-low dispersion) elements help ensure color accuracy.
Awesome lens...Love it....Its wide angle to telephoto focal range allows to get shots without having to switch lenses....The 18mm wide angle gives you the option for sweeping panoramas, and the 200mm zoom (especially when combined with the ability of the Nikon D7100 to do a 1.3x crop, making the effective range over 250mm) is a very nice telephoto to have....This lens quickly drops to the 5.6 f stop setting when you start to zoom and in a gymnasium, theater or foot ball field you will quickly feel the pinch of not enough light to maintain a reasonably fast shutter speed so the action does not get blurred....Yes, it is more expensive than the 18-55mm and 55-200mm lens combined but it has to be because it's doing much more than both of those lenses for its focal range.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18–200mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR II Standard Zoom Lens: This powerful and versatile Nikon standard zoom lens is a great one-lens solution for DX-format DSLRs. Its wide angle to telephoto focal range gives photographers a flexible tool to get the shot without having to switch lenses.
