Precise MF....Great lens....absolutely love this lens this lens pictures come out great if you are looking to upgrade it is worth the money to upgrade i love it better then stock lens must buy....absolutely love this lens this lens pictures come out great if you are looking to upgrade it is worth the money to upgrade I love it better then stock lens must buy...Good lens for anyone that wants to portray something really close to the lens, but forget it if you want to take a picture, lets say from feet to head, it's really hard to get, because you have to calculate all the time if the image is getting blurry or not, and it just makes it really tedious.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light without needing a flash. It's excellent for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.
great lens....Love it...glad I brought it over sigma 60mm which only stops down to f2.8 the bokeh on this lens is great and this is capable of producing some great photos....I love this camera and the lens I am a beginner and my pictures come out in great quality still learning how to work it, but it is worth the money...Personally, I have tried similar lens from sigma, however I found the sony to be much sharper due to OSS (optical steady shot).
Customize your Sony Alpha camera with this Sony prime lens for enhanced picture quality. OSS image stabilization reduces blurring for crisp, clear images, and the direct manual focus switches from autofocus to manual focus effortlessly. Boasting a 50mm focal length, this Sony prime lens lets you zero in on the perfect shot.
Good lens....Good option...It has the Vibration reduction, which is great when taking hand held shots, but you definitely need to turn it off when you are taking photos on a Tripod....Later that night I took the lens to a High School Football game and in the first half, the sun was still up and the pictures were once again awesome....The zoom range filled a gap in my lenses and permitted me to capture the images from a distance that I might not have otherwise been able to get.
Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70–300mm f/4.5–5.6G IF-ED Telephoto Zoom Lens: Leave the tripod at home and create stunning still images and HD videos from any distance with this Nikon telephoto zoom lens. The versatile focal length allows you to capture intricately detailed photos of sports events, wildlife and distant scenery. Vibration reduction technology reduces blur caused by camera shake for crystal clear handheld photos and action shots.
nice lens...Go for it....Great for sneaking up on wildlife....or a great alternative to actually walking closer to other things that you would not have to sneak up on if you are just lazy....Because it does have a great zoom length, you may want to think about getting a tripod for the shooting subjects that are real far away (such as the moon)....It has been my personal experience with the Nikon - AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f - 4.5-5.6G ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens - Black - Black a great ease of use, crystal clear shots and amazing telephoto clarity of the images I photograph.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55–300mm f/4.5–5.6G ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens: Be ready for almost any shot with this Nikon telephoto zoom lens. Lightweight and versatile, this lens captures crisp images even from a distance, allowing you to take sports photos from the bleachers and extend your reach for landscape and wildlife photography. Vibration reduction technology smooths out images for blur-free panning and still photography.
Love it....Good one...Ask any SLR shooter, a nifty fifty prime lens has always been in their arsenal from the time they moved up from a kodak (or a smartphone)! Some plastic in this one but it has not let me down....Love the lense, it is everything I had hoped it would be, but due to the ignorance of the Best Buy employees I ended up returning the lense to Best Buy and then purchasing it AGAIN at a camera store....It's an excellent lens for portraiture: f1.8 means you will be able to get shallower DOF that will make your subjects pop... it definitely beats any zoom that is in the market in this regard.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: A perfect everyday lens for any photographer, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G offers fast autofocusing combined with an integrated lens coating to deliver clear and crisp images. The wide-open aperture is ideal for low-light shooting and creating images with beautiful background blur.
nice lense...Is good....This zoom lens is a must have to carry along with for some great snaps or as I like to say, if you are going to be out and about with a little comotion going on whatever that may be, and you do not want to be bothered swapping out lenses, yes, hook this one up and you will be good to go for the event!!...I have taken a few pics with the telephoto lens, mostly back-of-the-room shots of school programs that turned out great, even in fairly low light (still learning ISO settings on the camera)....the package is good as is, however if I had one wish it would be for a f/2.8 just so I would not have to be dependent on a flash unit for certain pictures.
Canon EF 70–300mm f/4–5.6 IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens: If you're looking for a lens that gets you close to the action, this versatile telephoto zoom lens provides a longer reach for sports, weddings and events, nature photography and more. It's equipped with an image stabilizer, so you can create sharp photos and video while using slower shutter speeds. And when you're not shooting, the zoom lock button lets you keep the lens securely fixed in place.
Good deal...Nice zoom...We just took a trip to the mountains and were able to get some great shots of the city below because of this lens... We love it !!!...The image quality is good but is certainly not going to rival a high-end lens like the Canon 70-200 L. I am please with this lens....This lens allowed me to get up and personal while being at a distance.I am also able to get lots of detail with moving animals or children.
Snap sharp, vibrant photos at a distance with this Canon EF-S 8546B002 telephoto lens, which features a 55-250mm focal length for flexible zooming and optical image stabilization to reduce the effects of camera shake.
Very good...Great Prime...I shoot pics of my family almost exclusively and with kids its hard to get quick shots let alone crisp focus because they are always moving....I have not tested this lens to video yet but considering how quiet and smooth the autofocus is, it would but phenomenal for wide angle videos....I really like this lens because you can get a wide angle view, but you can get closer up to the subject and get a little bit of a macro.
Capture stunning images of wide perspectives with this Canon 9522B002 EF-S wide-angle lens that features an aspheric lens element for high image quality from the center to the edges. The circular, 7-blade aperture delivers soft backgrounds.
Awesome !!...Good lense....I use it more than the normal lens that my camera came with, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy an additional lens for their camera....We have quite a few different kinds of birds that visit our backyard and this lens has enabled me to get tight shots without having to get too close and scare them away....It's good for people who use tripods mainly using lenses such as these but if you are hand held most of the time and active, probably not the best choice.
Canon EF 75–300mm f/4–5.6 III Telephoto Zoom Lens: An ideal lens for photography enthusiasts who want to take their creativity to the next level, this telephoto zoom lens provides a long focal reach for taking close-ups shots from a distance. Take action shots while sitting on the sidelines at games and events, photograph wildlife without getting too close and capture incredible details on your next vacation.
Love it...It's ok...50mm is a good focal length for portraits though, and this lens can focus on something as close as a foot away from the camera so you can get some good closeups....Given everything else was real-time, including finding and putting on hold the product in stock at the nearest store, it seems reasonable to expect that there should be in-company computer communication that is commensurate with comparative network inventory systems....The revised Canon 50mm is a nice improvement from the prior model - with a larger (and more quiet) focus ring and better auto-focus (along with sharp photos and a great price) - this one lens any photographer should not be without.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens: Capture important moments in your life with this standard lens, which works with your compatible Canon DSLR EF-mount camera. A circular aperture with 7 blades helps you add creative background blur.
Best Lens....good deal....I keep the focal length under 200, about 135, f5.6-8 and have gotten wonderful photos of dragonflies , flowers, almost macro lens quality....Used it at a professional football game and all the pictures looked amazing never blurry and quick enough to keep up with the fast paced game....I am in no way a professional photographer and this is only my second lens for the Sony NEX-5t but I am impressed by the long range the lens is able to capture.
Designed for use with most Sony Alpha E-mount cameras, this Sony SEL55210/B telephoto lens features Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, so you can capture images in crisp detail. The 2 ED (extra-low dispersion) elements help ensure color accuracy.
Good buy!...Thank you...I was able to take some decent night sky shots using this lens, and was lucky enough to have it for some very clear and pretty Aurora Borealis shots....However that is not really the purpose of any wide angle lens, so as long you adjust the shutter and iso respectfully the f4.5 should not be a problem....Needless to say, I had to return the lens and ended up with the Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 which is a MUCH better video lens that is still decently wide-angle.
With an STM (stepping motor) and focus mechanism, this Canon EF-S 9519B002 zoom lens allows you to record ultrasharp videos or capture crisp photos using your compatible Canon camera. The UD lens element helps you take highly realistic images.
A must have...Great Len....I took the lens for a test drive on my Alaska Cruise vacation and ended up with some nice pics, I did also use a Rocket Fish P.Filter and UV.Filter to prevent any glare on my pics and to protect it from getting scratched....The picture I took looked pretty good and my only gripe was that it's somewhat big (for me) and I kept knocking it into things even when on my carry strap, this is my own fault of course but this lense makes the cam significantly larger for sure....I have not gotten a chance to play with this a lot yet, but I am excited about the zoom options it will give me as the zoom on the NEX-6 itself does not zoom very far.
With Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, this Sony NEX SEL55210 lens makes it easy to take clear, steady photos and videos with your Sony NEX digital camera. The 3.8x zoom lets you hone in on distant subjects from far away.
Fast Lens...Love it!!...If you do indoor photos or low-light photos, using a prime lens with an aperture range of f/1.8 to f/22 will allow more light into the sensor, so your photos are brighter without using a flash or other light source....But I keep this lens on my camera at all times indoors so I can finally catch those shots of the kids running around being adorable or doing something goofy and not have to worry about flash or overexposed pictures or out of focus pictures because the kit lens was not able to keep up or was not open wide enough to take a good shot....Although it's sharp, remaining so for the most part until it's wide open, it has some distortion and is not as rectalinear - meaning straight lines appear straight - as I'd like, which is to be expected at this price point, and can be corrected in software.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: Whether you're a beginner or professional, you'll love this compact, lightweight lens from Nikon. The normal angle of view captures approximately what the human eye sees, making it a great all-around lens. Plus, the f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for creating softly blurred backgrounds and shooting in low light.
Great Len....Supurb lens...This lens was my dream one , it is expensive but I love it , it give real good quality , however in low light it is risky for blurring the whole photo...The image stabilization help this even further be allowing you to hand hold the camera at shutter speeds that stop the action, but would normally be blurry from camera shake at a focal length of 200 mm....Recently while photographing the Pride Parade in SF, I used the IS setting that allows for panning - tracking with an EF Teleconvert III at f5.6 and was really excited about the results.
Canon EF 70–200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens This telephoto zoom lens is an essential tool for professional photographers and skilled amateurs. The variable focal length makes it useful for photographing a broad range of subjects, and the 2.8 maximum aperture functions well in low-light situations. Snap candid portraits, stop the action at sporting events or compose wedding photos with exceptional blurred backgrounds.
