so good....good buy...This is a great lower priced option for the 50mm, if you have the budget, spend the extar money for the f1/4 50mm lens, but this one is excellent for a beginner....But having this 50mm f/1.8stm lens will open up a whole new world of possibilities and really help you see the potential of what a DSLR camera truly can capture.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens: Capture important moments in your life with this standard lens, which works with your compatible Canon DSLR EF-mount camera. A circular aperture with 7 blades helps you add creative background blur.
Good Lens...Nice lens...Since these cameras have the cropped sensor, the 50mm lens acts as if it was an 80mm lens, which is good for portrait work, but is too long a lens for using indoors like a birthday party, or in a museum....It's a great lense if your moving on from the lense cameras usually come with no flaws overall & great purchase for what you pay for.
Capture stunning images of wide perspectives with this Canon 9522B002 EF-S wide-angle lens that features an aspheric lens element for high image quality from the center to the edges. The circular, 7-blade aperture delivers soft backgrounds.
Nice lens...Love it....I can not use this lens as often wide open as I would like to due to color fringing and other issues associated with wide open shooting, however it is just as good the 1.2L or the 1.8 when stopped down beyond 1.8....The fixed length means that you have to move the camera to compose the shot, or crop the image in post, however the trade off is the huge aperture (F - 1.4) and the great image quality you get from a prime lens.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light without needing a flash. It's excellent for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.
Love it...great lens....Now I can carry this pancake lens in my pocket, and when packing the gear into a small bag use it instead of a camera body cap, while having the camera ready for a surprise opportunity....Plus I read a forum where several users had tried to upgrade the firmware (following the directions) and the upgrade did not work or the lens stopped working completely!
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Standard Lens: This standard Canon lens offers high-quality image capturing in a small, lightweight lens body, making it a great companion in crowds and public spaces. Its versatile features and easy portability make it especially suited for basic travel, portraits and memento shots.
The best....great item...Canon did a great job of packing a lot of glass (nine elements in seven groups) into a decent form factor of 3" diameter by 2.8" long; even with the hood mounted, this lens provides a fraction of the intimidation factor of, for instance, the 70-200mm f - 2.8L....This is a great lens especially for taking portraits and because of it is low f stop it works well in lower lighting even without a flash as long as it is not too low and people hold still for a sec.
Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Medium Telephoto Lens: Get sharp, clear photos with this Canon medium telephoto lens that delivers vibrant color and clarity with fast, quiet focusing. The 85mm focal length draws attention to your subject and transforms the background into a soft blur for professional-quality portraits and impeccably detailed close-up shots.
Great lense...NICE LENS...Light as can be, rapid focus and as sharp if not moreso than the more expensive 85 1.4G. Beautiful OOF characteristics....I do enjoy the N Series version of this lens as well, but this is the MUCH cheaper option and it does just as great a job.

Whether you're capturing headshots, wedding photos or nature images, this medium telephoto lens offers all you need for professional results in almost any lighting conditions.
Great lense....Great lens !...I used this lens for the first time last weekend at a wedding to capture reception details and it was fabulous!...Metal mount, rear seal gasket, and internal silent wave motor focusing system are a few of the premium features you will appreciate with this lens.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G Standard Lens: Suitable for professional and amateur photographers, this is a great lens for travel, events, portraits and general purpose photography. Capture clear images in dim lighting without a flash with the wide-open aperture. Switch seamlessly from automatic to fine manual focusing so you can ensure every detail is spot on.
Great glass...Best lens...It takes crystal clear shots and I am amazed at how well it does even without using a tripod at an extremely close range....Bottom line:Based on my intial impression, I highly recommend this lens for macro photography, especially if this will be your only macro lens.
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens: Experience a broader range of your DSLR's capabilities with this mid-telephoto macro lens. Image stabilization helps to ensure that your photos are clear even at very close range. Capture fine details with unprecedented clarity.
Great lens...1.8 is great....Being a very fast lens, it enables me to take pictures in low light (sport/action photography) that I otherwise would not be able to do....I like the way it has included the distance scale so that you can use the hyperfocal distance technique to make your pictures as sharp as possible.
Nikon AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D Standard Lens: The wide-open aperture of this versatile Nikon lens allows you to capture photos in most situations without a flash. Whatever you're shooting, you'll get consistently sharp results at dusk, dawn or even in dim indoor lighting. Weighing just 5.5 oz., it makes a convenient carry-around lens for shooting stills and video.
very sharp....Perfect lens...I know this has been beaten to death already but I have to say it so that maybe SONY can make a version 2 of this lens!...It will take a while to experiment with all the features and realize them in printed photos...looking forward to purchasing more accessories

This Sony SEL28F20 lens features a 9-blade circular aperture and ED glass with multicoating, so you can easily capture clear photos with minimal ghosting using your a7-series, 35mm full-frame camera.
Impressive Product...Great Budget Lens...Sharp lens, great for portrait But slow to focus, good bokeh though...I mostly take photos of my family or food so it is perfect for that use.
