Great !...Its good...DLNA capability and USB nice!...Decent modem not the fastest but the fastest that Best Buy sells that is compatible w/ Cox in my area - BEWARE - just because the box says it is compatible does not mean it is - check w/ your internet provider before buying...There was an automatic prompt when connecting that allowed me to get it synced with my service in <15 minutes (The cable guy ran out of patience and gave up, trying to get me to buy - rent their garbage generic one - I replied "no thanks," waited until he left and did it myself)....The N600 has lightening speed, but the dual channel part gets complex in that some devices appear have to be preset to one or the other channel names rather than just going with the optimum under existing conditions.
Enjoy fast downloads and more with this NETGEAR N600 C3700-100NAS dual-band wireless-N router, which delivers data transfer rates up to 300 Mbps + 300 Mbps for rapid performance. DLNA capability lets you stream media stored on compatible devices.
Worth it...best ever...very fast and 2 usb port...I finally determined the cause on my own, I was using a battery backup for the Router and when using one of the plugs on the backup, I could not get the Adapter to connect, plug it into the wall and would work fine....+ Powerline adapter has been solid streaming 1080p video when plugged in 50 feet away on the other side of my house + Default Wifi credentials which are included are actually decent/easy find for first time setup and if you would like keep it for permanent use + All in ?one? product....The dead spot terminator is great, too, although I use it to boost the signal around the a/v setup in my apartment, so I can not speak to how well it works in a house, but I'd be surprised if it was not one of the best options for extending your home network.
Eliminate weak areas of your Wi-Fi and enjoy a strong connection on every device as you work and play. The Dead Spot Terminator (DST) adapter broadcasts an additional Wi-Fi signal to fill in dead zones and expand your home network.
Includes 1 year of Geek Squad® Set Up & Support.
Very good...The best....The 3.0 USB works great as well....You have to have a device that supports the 802.11ac protocol to get the theoretical 1300 Mbps speeds (note: the max speed I ever saw while using it with an 802.11ac device was 800 Mbps -- still very amazing!)...Wish it had a few more features built in like basic firewall or parental controls that do not require you to install the Netgear Genie App, and create an account with OpenDNS (I think it was - I did not bother at that point)....If you stream videos on your phone - tablet frequently and are looking to upgrade your router so you do not have to wait while it downloads before playing the video, this is a great option.
Your Wi-Fi network is busy downloading files, streaming media, browsing websites and much more. This NETGEAR router expands your coverage, so everyone can be online at once, without slowdown, lag or disruptions.
Best ever....It Works...The usb port for my printer works great....i switched over from ATT DSL to Time Warner cable and had to get a router - It was real easy to hook up and it works really well all over my Condo - even have my neighbor linked on my wireless....It does what it is suppose to and more, not the easiest to install but relatively easy, easy to set up guest access and works great for apartment interference, I have it connected to my TV, 2 cell phones, 2 laptops and an ipad, and no matter the combination I still get great service....This Router exceeded my expectations because with all the wireless equipment in my home, it handles it all and has not needed to be reset yet, 4 cell phones, 5 computers and 1 streaming TV, that is quite a load.
Share, stream and access stored media across your network. This Belkin router provides steady and reliable Wi-Fi coverage, even while everyone in the house is online.
No lag....Love it....USB storage and FTP, this is great!...I have 20 plus devices on my network at all times I purchased this and it handles them all flawlessly, no lag, no drop in connection at all and it automatically assigns devices their own channel and power frequency and seperates the slow devices from the faster devices with smart connection feature....Our wireless router connection is on an outside wall, and we had trouble getting a signal on the opposite side of the house or upstairs, and with 5 people, all with iphones, ipads and laptops plus a smart tv running, sometimes all at once, we had trouble with devices staying connected....I did notice that while online gaming I finally have a stutter free experience and never see my character or vehicle skipping across the screen as I all to often did with the 4 other much cheaper less capable routers I have owned over the last decade.
Automatically connect every device in your home at the same time. This tri-band router offers accelerated Wi-Fi, so you can avoid breaks in streaming, lag while gaming, and interruptions while working, even when everyone's online at once.
Good one...Good buy...Powerful Router w - Ready Share USB....I have had better connections in out of the way third world countries, so I am always amazed at how bad and unstable connections are here... Anyway, I would definitely recommend trying this product when experiencing problems and all other Wireless N routers, range expanders, etc. have failed....That is not altogether a bad thing, after using the router I found that it was more of the fact that NetGear routers already had pretty well laid out settings screens, but I think this product could benefit if the settings screen was redesigned to look more appealing, and to make it have a look that is different from their older routers....But... inexplicably, this weekend I lost my internet signal... I had internet coming into my modem, but not out of my router... followed all the troubleshooting steps to no avail... luckily, I had the 2 year replacement plan... took to back to Best Buy, got a replacement, plugged it in and all is fine again... No idea what might have happened to the first one.
This NETGEAR router beams strong Wi-Fi signals to every device in the house. This means your Wi-Fi connection can keep up with your household, even if everyone’s working and playing at the same time.
it Works...It is ok....Attached 3 tb usb hard drive without issue....The 4 antennas allow the signal to be targeted and provide a strong signal, which is nice if you have a weak spot in your place (you can look for weak spots by getting an app for your phone that checks wifi signal strength while you are walking around, I thought it was cool)....I am no techie and this router was easy to set up, easy to customize and has worked like a charm (meaning I have not had to do anything with it since the day I set it up)! Expensive, but worth price for the speed, ability to effortlessly handle three PCs, one MAC, one HP printer, three Ipads, and four Iphones simultaneously....The results again are super fast read and write speeds for my wireless desk top as well as lap tops especially during the data back ups.I have observed Link Rates in excess of 700 Mbps on the iPad Air, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 Plus.
No matter where you are, bedroom to backyard, you’ll experience a stronger, faster connection with this tri-band NETGEAR router. Get rid of lag, freezing, and buffering while you game, stream and more on multiple devices.
Good buy...very good...Especially liked the USB port....Parental Controls, QoS (set little Johnny’s XBOX to use less of your speeds that he can really pull), Port Forwarding, DMZ (gaming) and VLANs (security / isolation) Here’s a quick speed test note — with my ISP, using this router, the performance for a Wireless N MacBook Pro on the 5G band averages 76.15 Mbps down / 12.32 Mbps up....Included documentation - you will get a printed quick start guide and a documentation CD with the very brief manual, I did not find it very useful, however online help in the management interface is very good, I would recommend looking at the online help if in doubt (it has a few quirks though and gives an impression like - do not touch anything unless you absolutely sure and called your ISP to verify :(/....From a wireless perspective, everything went flawlessly, all wireless devices automatically connecting to the router at their optimum connection speeds ( i.e. - AC capable devices at 5 ghz, legacy devices at 2.4 ghz) however, I did run into a minor hick-up when trying to establish a LAN connection to my Vonage device using DHCP.
Your household wants to play, stream and work online all at once. With this Linksys router, you can do it all without buffering or other interruptions. Use the Smart Wi-Fi app to get started, control, and monitor your home network from anywhere.
Works great!...Great technology...Excellent USB wifi adapter...It works great for us and we have not had any issues since we got the adapter....I think its a great solution if you want to reuse an old desktop that does not have wireless card...Im no expert but this product was easy to install and has improved browsing on my desktop.
Plug this Linksys USB adapter into your computer for a Wi-Fi networking boost. It upgrades laptop, game console or desktop capabilities to Wireless-N functions, letting you transfer files at rates as fast as 300 Mbps. The antenna array on this Linksys USB adapter provides reliable signal, and the device supports Windows Vista, XP and 7.
2nd best...Good buy...Has cable and usb connections...i got this for my network after I gave comcast there modem/router back it is big improvement great for pc & ps4 gaming big wifi gain for ps4/xbox down load and upload it is well worth the weight in gold the only down side is the 5ghz its range is not real good the 2.4ghz is great...I have had this router for 4 months now and I have never had an issue with this router, it's easy to install, saves me money on my time warner bill, but it worries me that dust can get into the little holes it has all around....Best not to have it sitting on the floor but like somewhere 1 to 3 feet up on a sturdy shelf - platform and a foot away from other electronic devices or metal objects that can block or distort the wireless signal.
802.11ac Dual Band GigabitThere's fast, faster, and then there's the AC1750.
Grab the highest cable speed currently available and AC WiFi in one smoking fast device. The AC1750 WiFi router and integrated DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem-with up to 680 Mbps-combine to deliver the ultimate in HD streaming, online gaming perfomance, multi-device connectivity, and works with all major cable ISPs.
We Love it....Love it!!...This router also features both a usb port and eSATA port so you can easily configure your own media server....:) -Media Prioritization allows you to prioritize specific devices/applications so Johnny can not hog your Roku bandwidth when he decides to download a 5Gb update for his game... -Advanced users can administer dhcp reservation, static routes, static DNS, MAC filtering, port forwarding, etc.....The WRT3200 ACM router is extremely fast as well as reliable, I currently have 32 devices connected to this router as well as 4 NAS Servers for streaming movies, and 4 Nest Security camera running in HD, this router has handled everything with no issues what so ever, the WRT3200 ACM is an upgrade from the WRT1900 ACS, I was hestitant to spend the money on the 3200 since the 1900 ACS was still relatively new, but have to admit, the upgrade was worth it....Now the saving grace may be that the Open Source Firmware it supports will allow me to flash this and not have to change my passwords, but I doubt it will replace my EA9500 anytime soon, but be an additional add-on to my network, either as wireless birdge/space router/test bed for the Open Source Firmware.
Connect your external wireless devices to the internet with this Linksys dual-band router. Two 5Ghz bands support both high-end gaming and low-end applications without compromising speed, and remote management lets you make adjustments from any location. This Linksys dual-band router has a sleek design that integrates easily into most workspaces.
Good buy...Love it...Has USB connections, also....Otherwise I have been pretty happy with it, I was able to price match with a sale after purchasing it to reduce the price from 120 to 90, we rarely need to reset the router (only once since purchasing), and it was really easy to set up....Linksys has done their homework and has made the router configuration process easy enough for most anyone to use, but they have also kept things agreeable for the tech heads among us (guilty) that like to jump in and set things up without the hand holding....I was getting a message several times a day on my phone when I would check e-mails and such that said channel avoided poor connection from my Att wi-fi that was two rooms away in my Apt.-Frustrating and annoying and then you have to reconnect blah blah blah!
Your household demands a lot from your home network. With this Linksys router, you can depend on a strong Wi-Fi connection as you work and play online, even when everyone is using a different device. Plus, you can control the router from anywhere with the Smart Wi-Fi app.
Love it!...Great buy...LOVE the USB features....I received this product for free as part of Belkin's Friends + Family Program It was very easy to install, after putting the antenas on the body, We connected the router to the Comcast modem/router , which we are leasing from Comcast , then we chose the name of the router ?Linksys23004_5GHz? and entered the password from the ?Quick Start Guide?, the last step was to open the internet browser and opened the link provided for the router to finish and followed the steps and that?s it....I received this product for free as part of Belkin's Friends + Family Program Pros: Easy set up out of box especially with the "smart set up" wizard Ability to change naming conventions of 2.4ghz, 5ghz and Guest network Great whole house coverage in two story home ios app very easy to use and allows renaming and device prioritization Cons: This is a big router!...Things I like about it are: - Multiple antennas that deliver solid signal strength - Solid signal strength over 2200+ sq. ft of the house - Great connectivity - delivers consistent rates, especially over 5GHz - MU-MIMO as future proofing technology, though none of my devices support it now - Stability ... having used it for 2 weeks, I have had no issues with connectivity or drop offs.
With so many devices in use, your home network is busier than ever. This Linksys router can eliminate slowdown and interference by delivering Wi-Fi signals directly to each device, so everyone can listen to music, stream movies, and shop or game online at the same time..
I like it!...Love it....One feature I like is the four ethernet and one USB ports available....I have all the household devices connected wirelessly which includes two cell phones, two laptops, two TV boxes, a Playstation 3, Nintendo DS and a 3DS, and a printer....Sure, it is not the best or longest reaching wifi device, but you can not get into the AC game for cheaper and dear goodness are those extra Mbps tasty!...I was using my modern with built in router and only getting up to 50mbps over wifi... All the while I have been paying for 100mbps... I could only accomplish the higher speed with a wired connection... Now that I have this router I am getting over 100mbps over wifi... It's awesome...
You demand a lot from your Wi-Fi network. With this Belkin router, everyone in the house will be able to watch shows, play games and use tablets, smartphones and Smart TVs at the same time, without lag or slowdown.
Good deal...Its fine...USB 3.0 a nice touch as well....When my Internet went down, though, it kicked off the wireless and it took several hours of normal troubleshooting before the second representative I called (had to call back, because the first just recommended doing everything I already did) told me about the two Wi-Fi buttons on top, in the LED strip, that camouflage themselves as regular LEDs....Linksys EA6300 Router 2.4GHZ: RSSI 60dBm 5GHZ: RSSI 70dBm NETGEAR R6400 2.4GHZ: RSSI 47dBm 5GHZ: RSSI 59dBm Additionally, I have a Dropcam security camera in my entryway that would always have gaps in recording, and I would see an error inside the app that indicated it had low signal strength....After I changed many Routers I asked for Best buy employee help in a few questions from him he understand very well how kind a router I need and he suggest NETGEAR R6400-100NAS router, which offers Wireless-AC technology and 3 high-powered antennas for reliable performance.
Wirelessly network more than 12 devices in your home or office with this NETGEAR R6400-100NAS router, which offers Wireless-AC technology and 3 high-powered antennas for reliable performance. Integrated security measures help keep your network private.
