so good....good buy...This is a great lower priced option for the 50mm, if you have the budget, spend the extar money for the f1/4 50mm lens, but this one is excellent for a beginner....But having this 50mm f/1.8stm lens will open up a whole new world of possibilities and really help you see the potential of what a DSLR camera truly can capture.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens: Capture important moments in your life with this standard lens, which works with your compatible Canon DSLR EF-mount camera. A circular aperture with 7 blades helps you add creative background blur.
good buy...Good Lens...Offers a nice "Standard" view of your scene, nice fast aperature at wide open (f1.8) and closes all the way down to f/22 (depending on the body and the amount of light, among other things)....Looking forward to learning more, building my cache of equipment and lighting modifiers, but I totally love this lens and have been using it over the kit lens for a while now.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: A perfect everyday lens for any photographer, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G offers fast autofocusing combined with an integrated lens coating to deliver clear and crisp images. The wide-open aperture is ideal for low-light shooting and creating images with beautiful background blur.
Great one....Great len....It has about the same "great photo quality in low light" as the 50mm, but it also gives me "more room" for a picture as well, I do not have to move in and out of my object so much as the 50mm lens....The benefits of a prime are that it does not sacrifice picture quality in order to allow for zoom capabilities and that it will force you to physically move in order to take the best possible picture.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: Whether you're a beginner or professional, you'll love this compact, lightweight lens from Nikon. The normal angle of view captures approximately what the human eye sees, making it a great all-around lens. Plus, the f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for creating softly blurred backgrounds and shooting in low light.
Good Lens...Nice lens...Since these cameras have the cropped sensor, the 50mm lens acts as if it was an 80mm lens, which is good for portrait work, but is too long a lens for using indoors like a birthday party, or in a museum....It's a great lense if your moving on from the lense cameras usually come with no flaws overall & great purchase for what you pay for.
Capture stunning images of wide perspectives with this Canon 9522B002 EF-S wide-angle lens that features an aspheric lens element for high image quality from the center to the edges. The circular, 7-blade aperture delivers soft backgrounds.
Nice lens...Love it....I can not use this lens as often wide open as I would like to due to color fringing and other issues associated with wide open shooting, however it is just as good the 1.2L or the 1.8 when stopped down beyond 1.8....The fixed length means that you have to move the camera to compose the shot, or crop the image in post, however the trade off is the huge aperture (F - 1.4) and the great image quality you get from a prime lens.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light without needing a flash. It's excellent for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.
Love it...great lens....Now I can carry this pancake lens in my pocket, and when packing the gear into a small bag use it instead of a camera body cap, while having the camera ready for a surprise opportunity....Plus I read a forum where several users had tried to upgrade the firmware (following the directions) and the upgrade did not work or the lens stopped working completely!
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Standard Lens: This standard Canon lens offers high-quality image capturing in a small, lightweight lens body, making it a great companion in crowds and public spaces. Its versatile features and easy portability make it especially suited for basic travel, portraits and memento shots.
Great lense....Great lens !...I used this lens for the first time last weekend at a wedding to capture reception details and it was fabulous!...Metal mount, rear seal gasket, and internal silent wave motor focusing system are a few of the premium features you will appreciate with this lens.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G Standard Lens: Suitable for professional and amateur photographers, this is a great lens for travel, events, portraits and general purpose photography. Capture clear images in dim lighting without a flash with the wide-open aperture. Switch seamlessly from automatic to fine manual focusing so you can ensure every detail is spot on.
Great lens...1.8 is great....Being a very fast lens, it enables me to take pictures in low light (sport/action photography) that I otherwise would not be able to do....I like the way it has included the distance scale so that you can use the hyperfocal distance technique to make your pictures as sharp as possible.
Nikon AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D Standard Lens: The wide-open aperture of this versatile Nikon lens allows you to capture photos in most situations without a flash. Whatever you're shooting, you'll get consistently sharp results at dusk, dawn or even in dim indoor lighting. Weighing just 5.5 oz., it makes a convenient carry-around lens for shooting stills and video.
Amazing Lens....Great pictures...One real upside, this lens does perform extremely well in low light settings as would be expected, and the quality and sharpness of the photos is outstanding!...Overall, it is a very beautiful lens, well built, look impressive on any camera body, and if used correctly it performs marvelously.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light and without needing a flash. It is a perfect tool for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.

Very sharp!...And I love this lens....I would highly recommend this camera to both amateurs and pros looking for a good lens to add to their kit....The image I am posting was made with this lens -- it is post processed for the look but I think the high quality of the source image from this lens is still apparent.

The Nano-GI coating on this Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 R WR lens reduces ghosting and flare.
Boy was I glad I bought this lens....The Best....The only negative about this lens is that at f/1.4 there are some severe vignetting that causes your entire image look underexposed, but that is easily fixed by bumping the exposure compensation up 0.3 or 0.7....The Sigma 35mm f - 1.4 DG HSM Art lens is the sharpest 35mm prime available for Nikon, with the highest DXOMark scores for any 35mm lens from any vendor.

Capture striking images of special events using your Canon DSLR camera with an APS-C-size sensor with this Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC HSM A digital lens that features a Super multilayer coating to help minimize flare and ghosting, ensuring clear shots.
I actually like the focal length, it's not as close in as the 85mm and not as wide as 35mm or 50mm, this can be a nice focal length for certain portraits....It's hazy soft at f/1.4, acceptable at f/2.0 and sharp at f/4.0....To summarize, this new 58mm f/1.4 feels very much like a mini 85mm f/1.4G which is lighter, not as sharp and slightly more expensive....It's hazy soft at f - 1.4, acceptable at f - 2.0 and sharp at f - 4.0.
Snap sharp, vibrant photos with your F-mount-equipped Nikon DSLR cameras using this Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 2210 prime lens, which features a Silent Wave Motor for accurate, high-speed autofocus. Nano Crystal Coating ensures sharp, clear pictures.
