Best lens....Great lens...Great wedding lens too for blurred background....It is my new goto lens. The photos from this lens are the best I have ever shot.If you are looking for a great lens get this one.My only regret is I had to buy this from amazon because best buy has not had it in stock for months.
Canon EF 70–200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens This telephoto zoom lens is an essential tool for professional photographers and skilled amateurs. The variable focal length makes it useful for photographing a broad range of subjects, and the 2.8 maximum aperture functions well in low-light situations. Snap candid portraits, stop the action at sporting events or compose wedding photos with exceptional blurred backgrounds.
Great lens...Best lens...I have used my camera and lens to photograph my sister's wedding and the pictures turned out great....Need to be careful while changing from auto to manual focus otherwise the lens get stuck inbetween forcing you to turn off the camera and turn it on to reset the auto focus motor.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55–300mm f/4.5–5.6G ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens: Be ready for almost any shot with this Nikon telephoto zoom lens. Lightweight and versatile, this lens captures crisp images even from a distance, allowing you to take sports photos from the bleachers and extend your reach for landscape and wildlife photography. Vibration reduction technology smooths out images for blur-free panning and still photography.
I cannot say it's silent though....Sharp pictures!...Great lens for shooting weddings & portratis....I am still learning how to fully utilize it, but I know it will be perfect for my needs.
Capture stunning images with this Sigma 589306 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX telephoto zoom lens that is compatible with most Nikon full-frame DSLR cameras and features an HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor) that delivers fast, quiet autofocus to ensure crisp photos.
Good lense....Good zoom....Wonderful for Weddings!...I have gone to a few events(airshows, sporting events) and this was the main lens I used, I found that the image quality was decent, but when I zoomed into the picture on my computer, the edges of the subject were colored blue, purple, green, or yellow 80% of the time.
Canon EF 75–300mm f/4–5.6 III Telephoto Zoom Lens: An ideal lens for photography enthusiasts who want to take their creativity to the next level, this telephoto zoom lens provides a long focal reach for taking close-ups shots from a distance. Take action shots while sitting on the sidelines at games and events, photograph wildlife without getting too close and capture incredible details on your next vacation.
Best one...Love it....Those are nice but, for example, when shooting a wedding or something when you may want to change from close-up to further shots, it becomes a pain in the butt to change lenses (and to store them somewhere safe.) In the long run, BUY THIS LENS....If you are not in need of 300mm zoom and fine with occasionally using some digital cropping to enhance zoom, the Nikon 18-200 is a worthy buy.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18–200mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR II Standard Zoom Lens: This powerful and versatile Nikon standard zoom lens is a great one-lens solution for DX-format DSLRs. Its wide angle to telephoto focal range gives photographers a flexible tool to get the shot without having to switch lenses.
Incredible Lens...Holy S*** !!!!!...Bottom line, if you can ignore the noise and are not doing a whole lot of photography that requires a lot less noise(like a quiet wedding reception in a church), then this is a good lens....Canon - EF 70-200mm f - 4L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens is a great lens for taking great sports photos.
Canon EF 70–200mm f/4L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens: If landscapes are your main focus, this lens has what you need to create photos of distant scenes and captivating compressed perspectives. It's also useful for portraits and outdoor sports photography. Whether you're a professional photographer or a serious amateur, this versatile lens will be a valuable addition to your kit.
Five star...Love it ....50mm is a good focal length for portraits though, and this lens can focus on something as close as a foot away from the camera so you can get some good closeups....This is a great lower priced option for the 50mm, if you have the budget, spend the extar money for the f1/4 50mm lens, but this one is excellent for a beginner.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens: Capture important moments in your life with this standard lens, which works with your compatible Canon DSLR EF-mount camera. A circular aperture with 7 blades helps you add creative background blur.
Great len...Fast lense...Ask any SLR shooter, a nifty fifty prime lens has always been in their arsenal from the time they moved up from a kodak (or a smartphone)! Some plastic in this one but it has not let me down....Exactly what I was looking for to take pictures of my sons basketball games, which if you have ever tried doing with an average f/stop lens is very difficult due to the poor lighting .
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: A perfect everyday lens for any photographer, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G offers fast autofocusing combined with an integrated lens coating to deliver clear and crisp images. The wide-open aperture is ideal for low-light shooting and creating images with beautiful background blur.
Love it!...Great buy!...Unlike the kit lens of a DX Nikon, this allows for instant focus over-ride (Nikon calls this M - A mode), and the fast f - 1.8 aperture gathers much more light for shooting moving subjects than anything in its price range, and certainly more than any zoom lens....Then, I realized it is great if you are taking a portrait outside in open space (blurs background so nicely), but not useful when you want to take portrait in indoor... For casual dinner event, you will find yourself right against the wall to take an ordinary portrait shot.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: Whether you're a beginner or professional, you'll love this compact, lightweight lens from Nikon. The normal angle of view captures approximately what the human eye sees, making it a great all-around lens. Plus, the f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for creating softly blurred backgrounds and shooting in low light.
Nice lens...Good one....This, like all Canon lenses, is a high quality lens and with the focal lengths beginning at 55mm - this can easily be your "only" lens - replacing the typical 50mm with the added benefit of zooming smoothly to 250mm to get you right in the action....Going up to 250 mm, I used this to take pictures of people running in a race, and was able to capture good pictures while the racers were far away, and close.
Snap sharp, vibrant photos at a distance with this Canon EF-S 8546B002 telephoto lens, which features a 55-250mm focal length for flexible zooming and optical image stabilization to reduce the effects of camera shake.
Worth it!...Good, but...I bought the sony alpha a6000 camera a few months before buying the lens and realized that the lens it came with did not have much of a zoom on it....No, it is not as sharp or versatile as the original 18-200, the FE24-240 blows it away (obviously made for full frame, so a different beast), and a prime like the 50 f1.8 (SEL50F18) will give better results, but if you want a telephoto zoom to add to the kit zoom that came with the camera, this is a great place to start.
Designed for use with most Sony Alpha E-mount cameras, this Sony SEL55210/B telephoto lens features Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, so you can capture images in crisp detail. The 2 ED (extra-low dispersion) elements help ensure color accuracy.
Love it....Loved it...Closer to 10 mm gives the characteristic distortion wide angle lens are known to have and then 18 mm is the same as any basic 18-55 mm lens which is not distorted....A circular, 7-blade aperture helps ensure fine background blur and the Canon Optical Image Stabilizer system provides up to four equivalent stops of shake correction.
With an STM (stepping motor) and focus mechanism, this Canon EF-S 9519B002 zoom lens allows you to record ultrasharp videos or capture crisp photos using your compatible Canon camera. The UD lens element helps you take highly realistic images.
We Like it...Love It....It allowed me to get the background of photos without having to move so far back like my 50 mm lens and it lightened up my photos without me needing to know how to use pro level features...This lens is a fun lens to just put on and walk around with, not a lens for a serious photographer but it still has very good quality.
Capture stunning images of wide perspectives with this Canon 9522B002 EF-S wide-angle lens that features an aspheric lens element for high image quality from the center to the edges. The circular, 7-blade aperture delivers soft backgrounds.
Nice lens...Loved it...Takes great pictures and adds depth to photos... love the fish eye lens... photos look like pictures in a frame...The only thing that would make this better is if the fisheye could fit a full circle over the lens rather than being cut off on the sides, but otherwise, it is hard to go wrong with this lens kit at this price.
Capture stunning imagery with this Insignia three-lens kit. The wide-angle lens allows you to take extraordinary landscapes, a fisheye lens creates a unique perspective on the world, while the macro lens means you can get in close. This Insignia three-lens kit simply clips onto your phone, and it's all stored in a soft storage pouch for easy transport.
Great Len...Great lens!...Image quality is only marginally better than the f - 1.8, and while it uses a USM motor (not ring-type) to focus, it really does not focus that much faster and is not terribly quiet while doing so....I recently got into DSLR filmmaking and totally ignored my colleagues' recommendation that I just buy a camera body without the sub-par quality kit lens.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light without needing a flash. It's excellent for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.
