Customers are pleased with the 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon's image quality and value for the price. Many found it easy to use and well-suited for long-range shots, particularly as a beginner lens. However, some users experienced slow autofocus. Overall, the positive feedback on image quality and affordability outweighs the concerns about focusing speed.
I am not a pro photographer but a passionate one. Learning new things and trying them out. Thought of trying a zoom lens for my Nikon D5600 , purchased this one within budget. Since then I am using it everywhere - beach, portrait, macro(trying but not sure about the macro feature. I don’t see any difference if I turn macro on at 180mm), at my daughters school function to take her photo at a distance all came out well. I would suggest handling the lens as mentioned in the guide (comes with the package) else you will end up damaging the lens’s mechanism.

Excellent price and works great. No need to buy the overpriced nikon lenses. This lens was under $120.00. Nikon would have deen over $1000.00

I was holding off getting the nikon 70/300 because of the price. Got this from Best buy for 123.00, auto focus works great, and comes with a end cap sun shade attachment. Really no sense in buying the nikon lense.
