Danvers, MA Best Buy Geek Squad horrible customer service. I brought my computer in with a Microsoft Word problem and slow working computer. When I received the computer back the Microsoft Word was not working and the computer was still slow. When I brought the computer back I was told that I need to call Microsoft and there was nothing they could do. They would not stand by their work.

I never received this service after paying

I needed a consultation for a number of devices to be set up. After having recently moved out of town we decided to have someone hook up our equipment for us and had many specialized plans, Seeing that you had a consultation service for $99 we purchased it. Several weeks later we have never received a call to set it up as promised. We have been charged and the bill is due for a service that we never received. Please cancel this consultation order and credit my account for the $106+ that I have been charged.

BBY01-541996050831 this was my order to have a geek person cone out and chk for the cd rom not working. after paying you 106.00 for nothing as all he said was bring it in office have more tools. well I fixed the problem myself with just a little can of compressed air to clean out computer and cd rom works fine. I thought these guys know it all? I would not recommend them to anybody!!!!

I brought my computer in to be looked at because I could not bring up windows. At first I was told it was a virus. The technician called shortly after I left and said the hard drive is back. I took the computer home. I had data on there I could not retrieve myself so I took it into a local computer repair shop to see if they could get my data off. Was told there was nothing wrong with the hard drive, Windows was corrupt. Guess Best Buy would rather sell me a new computer that fix the 3 year old computer I bought from them!!!

Brought in for software issue. Under the technians repair it became a hardware issue then your service center claimed it could not be repaired. Since it was under best buys watch and they totally screwed it up I felt they should have replaced my computer. I will think long and hard about trusting them with any of my computers.

Geek Squad knows their stuff

I called Best Buy to schedule someone to give us an in home consultation to have surround sound speakers installed. The store didn't have anyone available to schedule it so they gave me a toll free number to call. After multiple transfers and almost an hour later our consultation was scheduled. The guy arrived on time and was very thorough and knowledgeable about the products he recommended. He kept us within our budget and was very helpful. Our surround sound system is in place and sounds great!

Never had a geek squad person that was so conscientious about his work. I will buy again from Best Buy and use the Gerk Squad service because of Mr Roberts. Very professional and complete work!

Well worth the $100 - and I got $100 off my purchase. The consultant was extremely knowledgable and saved me a lot of time and headaches.
