Faulty wiring Posted by: from: on I bought this antenna in April 2016 after cutting my cable. Yeah! This antenna came with a 14 day return from Best Buy and a one year from the manufacturer. If you can find the perfect spot for this antenna it works well and I was getting 30 channels which I was pleased with. However, the cable wiring coming from the antenna is very touchy. And if you plug any USB devices in your TV you'll get static and pixelating in your picture. If The cable moves in the slightest, you're out of luck. Since the 14 day warranty ran out, I contacted Trek. I was told that they do not give refunds for items purchased through a retailer. They would send me a new one or a refurbished one at their discretion. Had I known about the cable issue and their refund policy, I would have never spent $79.99 on this antenna. Make sure you can actually get a refund from the manufacturer for faulty merchandise.

I was Skeptical to buy... Posted by: from: on I have been fighting the battle of a good TV in home antenna for years. I've purchased more expensive ones only to end up returning because it did anything different from the cheaper model I was using. I had one that I was using for about 2 years and it began giving me problems. I decided to look at different models and started reading reviews and I finally came to this one. It was a little pricier than I wanted to spend considering past experiences with ones high priced and didn't work any different than the cheaper ones. I can happily say this one was worth every penny I spent. I set it up did a scan and didn't get as many channels as I expected so I played around with the position and finally I found the correct one for my location and ran a scan and found well over 30 channels. I'm glad I decided to try this one and have no regrets after trying to find a good one for over 5 yrs.

Unpredictable Posted by: from: on I thought I would give this a shot. Unfortunately, it's really not worth it for me to keep it because of its unpredictability. I never know when I'm going to be able to watch a show of my choosing. Are maximum range here where I live is 60 miles, and the product description suggest 60 miles plus, and we have stations much closer than that. Although, it just wasn't consistent enough for my liking. Not a bad product overall though. If you want to save a few bucks versus dish or cable, you may like this. But on the other hand, chances are you may only received a few channels. I know that was the case with me.

Back to basic Posted by: from: on After reading a lot of reviews. It seems your location and the placement were the important factors in getting a good reception. So I went to my local BestBuy store and asked for the indoor antenna that no one was returning. Then I disconnected the cable and connected the Turk. My TV found over sixty stations. Some were of poor quality. A few double stations and I choose the high definition one of course. I also dropped the stations I knew I would never watch. Oh, I dropped my cable bill too.

easy set up Posted by: from: on This antennae was very easy to plug in, use on the television and gets good reception. We cancelled cable and are now using this exclusively. We get local channels and some extra that we didn't get on cable. Not near as many as cable but we don't have to worry as much about children watching shows they should not as much now.

Terk antenna Posted by: from: on Antenna works good. Most of the channels come in really good with the exception of channel 4. I think if I move the antenna to different directions it would work. But all the other local channels come in crystal clear

returned item! Posted by: from: on I purchased the wrong antenna for my TV! Unfortunately this antenna did not work for my TV! Sorry I could not give a rating due to the fact that I never used antenna, but I must say it was a nice looking antenna and that is all I could say about this antenna! P.S. I did give a 1 only because I had to put something it did not allow me to put no rating!

Sleek, functional and easy setup. Posted by: from: Mesa, AZ on I was thinking of trying an antenna that mounts to the roof but that was a bigger bite than I could chew. This one ease say to install and channels come on clear. I live in East Mesa, Arizona. Picked up 40-50 channels. No more expensive cable bills since I only really watch the basic channels. Stack this antenna with Netflix and Hulu and no need for expensive cable bills each month. When installing these make sure you go into your tvs settings to find the channels. These don't work like the old rabbit ears where you simply plug and play. It takes some setting adjustments in the tv itself.

58 Free Channels Posted by: from: on I have used a white RCA flat panel basic antenna for the past 7 months that someone gave me. I got several channels, but couldn't get channels like PBS that I should have. I live in a major city so not far from towers. I would have to sit the RCA panel up for certain channels and move the panel flat for others. It would often pixelate, but I still got 46 channels. I decided to try a multi-directional antenna to see if I could get more. The salesperson recommended this one. Once I hooked it up, I got a good dozen more channels than I could ever get with the other one. I also don't have to move it around. It doesn't pixelate like the other. I'm thrilled. I now get 58 channels!
