Drake's a Beast!!!
Posted by: DJDany from: ATL on
I'm tired of all these people hatin on this album as well as they did on Kanye's 808 album. If you a true fan of the artists, you gotta appreciate all their music not just the onez you listen to on the radio. I do have to say when I first heard the album I thought is wuz OK. But after listening to the songs and his lyrics a couple of times, this album is F**** bad. Yeah he sings alot, but he's pulling it off. Now i'm ready to go to his concert when he comes to ATL in Cctober!

Thank Him NOW

Great tracks, lyrical presence is phenomenal. Boi-1da, and 40 make this album great, along with Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. Great featuring guests from ATL's "The King" T.I., to New York's Jay-Z, along with young money upcoming artist Nikki Minaj and Young Money's founder Lil Wayne, Drake has his work cut out for him.
Drake is the best thing coming up in the 2010 era. If you liked Drake, you will Love him now, if you hated on Drake, you will learn to appreciate this talented artist.

I wanted to be the first to rate Drake's Thank Me Later.I know it will be a classic. He has the lyrical ability of Jay-Z,singing better than Kanye West, and he has his own sound in general.Something new,a breathe of fresh air for rap.Im going to reserve this, cause i have a feeling it will sell out like Get Rich Or Die Tryin did back in 2003,and how T.I.'s Paper Trail did back in 2008.
To all the haters go cop it,man makes great music, and for his age.Dr.Dre,Swizz Beatz,Boi-1da,Kanye West, and Timbaland should be enough right. When i get the album next month guys i will give a breakdown of Thank Me Later. To me in 1 year he will pass LilWayne, shoot to me he already has.

When Drake hit the sceen I knew this brother was different. With his much anticipated album "Thank Me Later" he delivers. With a mixture of Hip Hop/R&B that I can appreciate. Starting out with "Fireworks" and ending with "Thank Me Now". This dude has something special and don't miss out. I can respect someone who is willing to take some chances and that's what Drake does. Much success with this album.

great cd for people with different taste in music
Posted by: KITTY93 from: Detroit , MI on
This album is GREAT (WHY) because it has different types of songs. Love , relationship/breakup , party songz., Its a track on this album for everyone. Songs like( UNFORGETTABLE, SHUT IT DOWN , FIND YOUR LOVE , FIREWORKS ) are great for quiet night . These songs show a senstive side of drizzy drake , from how he's attracted to bad girls , being in relationship where he thought it was love but it wasn't and feeling unconfident in relationships.
Those songs are like one side of the album the other side has tracks like (UP ALL NIGHT , OVER ,MISS ME , THE RESISTANCE ) these are track's that you can dance to , but the lycrics to still have meaning.
BUYING THIS ALBUM YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

DRAKE CAME WITH IT!!!
Posted by: musicftw from: San Diego, California on
The higly anticipated album Thank Me Later is amazing. If your a big fan of his rapping, and his singing then you get the best of both worlds. You get R&B songs like Find Your Love, and Karaoke that are straight out singing. For more of the Rap/Hip-Hop side of Drizzy he gives us hot tracks like, Over, Up All Night (feat Nicki Minaj), Miss Me (feat Lil Wayne), Unforgetable (feat. Young Jeezy) and more. The lyrics may not be all what you hope from his mixtape but as a first album it is great. Drake shows us that he can not only make music that people will love, but music that shows how talented he is. Rap has changed throughout the years and Drake has showed us what the Rap game is like now. I suggest you go out and buy this cd. You'll be missing out for sure if you don't.
