Is NOT pay to play... Posted by: from: SE, MN on Despite what a previous reviewer posted - this game is not a "pay to play" game. As with any online game on a console a subscription to the consoles online features is required (example. XBL, PSN) since it is online only you will need a XBL or PSN subscription...but not a subscription for Elder Scrolls, it's a one time purchase (for consoles) buy the game and if already have a XBL or PSN account you're good, set and ready to take part in what seems to be a pretty stellar game.

Good Game Posted by: from: on Its a fun game if you are into the elder scrolls world and lore, but if not, you might not find it very interesting.

Looks Great Posted by: from: Columbus, Ohio on I had originally planned on buying this game, but discovered that after spending $60.00 for the game, $50 for an Xbox live gold subscription, you would still need to pay an additional $15.00/ month to play this... I am a recreational video game player these days and am not interested in dropping that much money for a game I may only play three or four times in a month. That being said, from the videos previewing the game, it looks amazing. The online beta plays seem to give some indication of a richly developed world and intriguing game play. But lets face it, if you are not a dedicated gamer, this is probably not the game for you. Which is a shame, since I really enjoyed the prior titles in the series. Best of luck to those who do buy and play it. Have fun storming the castle!

Fun game Posted by: from: Auberry on Elder Scrolls is a fun game, and very addictive. One complaint I do have is the grouping system is pretty clunky, they could've done a better job of forming parties in this game. But overall a pretty fun game.

best mmorpg on xbox Posted by: from: on The elder scrolls online has not gotten enough attention from the media, it is well thought out, hours of fun and adventure.

Great game Posted by: from: on Elder Scrolls Online is a great game. The Imperial Edition includes a code to redeem certain premium items, such a horse which will be of great help early in the game when they are otherwise unobtainable. Having already played the PC version of the game, I can confirm that the Xbox controls are much more intuitive and that makes the game much more enjoyable. The microphone-based player communications are also more efficient than the text window in the PC version, however it does become a slight nuisance if you want to play with that function off, as you must manually sign out every time you start up the game.

Beautiful extras, exciting game Posted by: from: on The statue is very detailed as looks great with a candle flickering in and out like an in-game altar. The game itself is vast and fun to explore for hours on end! The extra digital stuff included makes it a good excuse to convince a friend to buy it so they can get the extra in game experience too!

If you like elder scrolls you'll like this game Posted by: from: on Excellent, excellent game. The skill system is rather unique (also different from past Elder Scrolls games), but excellent. The game play is a bit different from some other major MMORPGs, mainly in the incredible amount of content. In other games it can be very simple to explore 100% of the game, but in ESO (elder scrolls online) it's just as hard to complete everything as it was in the past Elder Scrolls games.

Amazing Game Posted by: from: on Be prepared to waste weeks of your life in this game. It is like heroin you can't just play once in awhile you get addicted. Amazing fun, great multiplayer action, there is nothing wrong with the game other than during the first week or two with so many people on the servers it was crashing.
