Stevie with Dionne Warwick
Posted by: Juice4u from: In the world on
This movie soundtrack scored well for Stevie Wonder. Back story is that Dionne Warwick was the back bone of the project initially. She summoned him for the project. Motown pressed it out for the public. Warwick's solo track, "Moments Aren't Moments" and duets with Stevie; "It's You" and "Weakness" were released by her former label, Arista. The title track and Stevie's "Love Light In Flight" have that synth '80s sound and are DATED. The Warwick tracks hold up very well.
She was singing in a quiet storm style of jazz fused with R&B elements. Bright guest spot for the POP diva.
