Synopsis

He's Mine Not Yours
A clandestine relationship test takes an unexpected twist in this romantic comedy drama featuring Clifton Powell. After years of playing the field, lifelong womanizer Kent (Jason Weaver) is finally ready to commit. But Kent's fiancée Brooke (Gabrielle Dennis) knows a bit too much about his past for comfort, and she isn't quite convinced he can settle down with one woman. In order to test his fidelity before the wedding, Brooke enlists the aid of a red-hot temptress for hire (Caryn Ward). But when the woman hired to seduce Kent decides to steal him away from Brooke, the suspicious bride-to-be realizes that her distrust may be her undoing. Now, in order to keep Kent, Brooke will have to upstage a woman who makes a living out of manipulating men into compromising positions. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Two Can Play That Game
Love really is a battlefield in this war of the sexes comedy that marks the directorial debut of Def Jam's How to Be a Player (1997) screenwriter Mark Brown. Vivica A. Fox stars as Shante, a knowledgeable veteran of the dating game who thinks she's found the perfect mate in the handsome Keith (Morris Chestnut). When Keith is spotted stepping out with Shante's arch-rival Conny (Gabrielle Union), the spurned lover institutes what she labels the "ten-day plan," an all-out assault on Keith designed to make him come crawling back to her. Shante's scheme includes sexy lingerie, home cooking, aloofness, and other tactics intended to make Keith regret his errant ways, but Keith is receiving contradictory advice from his allegedly worldly wise buddy Tony (Anthony Anderson). Two Can Play That Game is produced by Doug McHenry, director of Jason's Lyric (1994) and Kingdom Come (2001). ~ Karl Williams, Rovi

Jay is a hip black comic book artist whose experiences dating white women have left him wanting more. Realizing that he's in desperate need of some serious change, Jay launches "Operation Brown Sugar," and subsequently begins dating a beautiful "Halfrican-Canadian" writer. Now that race doesn't factor into Jay's dating habits anymore he feels like he may have found the love of his life. But while he may not have to worry about ending up with the wrong girl, Jay is about to discover that he may be in danger of letting the right one slip through his grasp. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Love for Sale
A hapless delivery man learns why sometimes too much of a bad thing can be detrimental to your personal well being after getting caught up with an older woman who sends his life spinning out of control. Trey (Jackie Long) may be working hard, though he just can't seem to catch a break. He's got no money for tuition, and his recent attempt to win over the girl of his dreams (Mya) resulted in nothing less than complete and total embarrassment. But while a seductive cougar (Melyssa Ford) may be more than happy to pay for Trey's "personal delivery services," his ideal situation is about to backfire in a way that the roving Romeo could have never seen coming. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
