Perfect smaller screen, a Smart TV with WiFi

We needed a smaller smart TV for a travel trailer and this fit our needs perfectly. Space concerns are important when selecting a TV and bigger is not always better. Features are important and this has all the needed connectivity options and the USB port and firmware on this model allows you to watch movies after plugging in a flash drive. The Wi-Fi works great and the remote functions well. Great value, quality, and price. Because of the smaller size, be sure if you mount this to a wall that the backing plate of your mount doesn't block the input outlets on the back of the TV. Buy the appropriate size mount or use a hack saw as I did to trim the mount's attachment plate to leave the inputs on the TV uncovered. This would be an issue anyone using a smaller TV must consider, not just this model.

Sweet Little TV

I bought this for our small camper. Works great. It's small, but that's to be expected from a 24 inch TV. Picture quality is nice. We streamed a netflix movie through our Verizon phone. Wireless worked great. OTA digital TV worked great. Nice little unit. I got this instead of a Samsung because it had wifi and apps for the same price. For the little we'll use it in the camper, it's a great buy. If I wanted super hi-fi for use in the house, I might have bought a higher priced brand. I'm happy, you will be too.

This TV was purchased for a guest bedroom where I wanted to be sure that they could get both regular channels and Netflix. We have used it several times and the picture is great and the smart features (more that I expected) are just right.

Good for PC Monitor

Recently purchased this TV on sale at my local Best Buy. I purchased this particular TV to setup as a PC monitor, which by the way works just as well as a regular PC monitor. Just plug in a HDMI cable to the computer desktop and I was good to go. Extra bonus is that I can use it as a backup tv/smart tv when I choose to do so. Picture quality is superb, and sound quality is basic just like any other tv. Overall I think this is a good solid tv and good for use as a PC monitor as well.

Image kind of hurts your eyes.

I've been okay with the purchase, Its an acceptable TV if you're buying it as a Computer monitor, theres really just two major flaws in the TV. First the Image is high Definition but it has this shadow and this unnatural feel to all the images on the screen that make my eyes hurt after just a little bit of watching anything with definition. Second, the "smart TV" function is cool but the hardware in the TV is totally not up for the job. Everything I tried to watch using its smart TV functions was laggy and had a difficult user interface. Its a fine buy if you're looking for a cheap, get-the-job-done type TV, but if you're considering this as some sort of luxury? It tries, but ultimately doesn't make the bill.

Quality Picture, Smart TV SW could use updating

I am very happy with the quality of the picture, but disappointed in the smart tv software. I am using this TV as a picture frame so I was relying on the software to provide me with the functionality. I tried several apps that were available in the store that promised to sync my pictures with a cloud storage, but none of them worked; usually because the hosting website was offline.
I ended up just placing a bunch of jpeg pictures onto a USB stick and doing it the "old fashion way" but ran into problems whenever I had more than 1000 pictures on the USB stick. More than this and the TV would only cycle through a few pictures before stopping and not transitioning to the next picture until I manually pressed a button on the remote; then it would cycle through a few more then hang again. As soon as I deleted the pictures down enough to get below 1000, I haven't had any more problems with the TV freezing on a picture.
One other tip if using the USB and picture frame mode; don't put the pictures into subfolders, instead put all pictures into the same top-level (root) directory.

Picture not clear - took back for another brand

Had an Insignia and accidentally cracked the screen so bought the Vizio to replace it. Got it home and started watching. The Insignia was a 720 vs. the 1080 for he Vizio. Vizio's picture was "hazy" compared to the Insignia. Took the Vizio back and purchased a Samsung. Would have purchased an Insignia but the store was out of stock.

Moniter/Smart TV

Got this for both of the above reasons. This is my 3rd Vizio. Overall I am pretty happy with Vizio. However, one of the 42" TV's of ours had a problem with the picture fading in/out, becoming darker then going back to normal. This was a random occurrence. After troubleshooting over the phone with Vizio's helpful tech we were unable to resolve the problem. Interestingly this 24" moniter/smart tv had the same issue. Both times Vizio replaced the TV's since they were under warranty. I am waiting on this one to arrive shortly. I would definitely purchase another Vizio if for no other reason than their help desk is in the U.S! (about time companies started bringing help desks back 'home' to employ our U.S. citizens!) The techs were friendly, helpful & courteous on each occasion I spoke with them. My other 2 Vizio purchases were from Costco which provides a free extended warranty. This purchase from Best Buy was impulse, but a good one. Hope this review helps someone else. Thanks!

Exactly What I Wanted

My wife and I decided we didn't always need a big wall TV for viewing old black and white movies such as those on Youtube. We decided a small screen set on our coffee table would be nice and help make for a more intimate viewing situation. Guess what...we were right. The big TV is great for sports and the more modern movies but for a close viewing of the old movies the 24" Vizio is fine. Picture quality is great.
