Great fridge for a small family
Posted by: Denise from: Akron, OH on
The delivery guys got it all set up, plugged in and ready to go. I love having the fridge on the top since we're in there more often. There is a lot of door space, and the door shelves are movable for your needs. However, the freezer is a little smaller than I'd like. My son is kind of picky, so I buy quite a bit of frozen convenience foods. We can't keep so much on hand with such little room in there.
Also, it's kind of loud compared to other fridges we've had.

going on a year so efficient

Even at level 3/7 it keeps my milk cold. The freezer is small but I don't buy frozen foods, except ice cream ice bags, freeze natural juices, fruits and veggies. The top is so spacious I feel I'm running out of market when I start to see it empty. Haha if I could post a pic I would. So silent.

Don't believe some of these other reviewers!
Posted by: Dieselbear from: Cleveland, OH. on
Okay, I was a little skeptical about buying this fridge but it was the best fridge that fit my limited space, so I went for it. And because of the scary reviews on here, I bought the 3 year Geek Squad protection as well. I have to say, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. And it is NOT loud like these other reviewers were saying! I think they may be referring to when the fridge and freezer motors are both running at the same time. And even when they do, (which is not all the time), it's no louder than my 1990's fridge that I got rid of for this one. And the shelves adjust very easily. That's probably my favorite thing. And I was surprised at how nice the stainless steel looks. It looks just as nice as those $3k fridges. So, don't believe those other reviews, buy it!

This was the only white fridge that would work for us. I'd prefer the textured finish instead of smooth. The handle on the freezer looks cheesy compared to the handle on the door. The shelves are harder to get stuff out of the freezer than what the bottom drawers were on my old refrigerator. It keeps an even temperature.

Disappointed with product quality and function
Posted by: qqoe from: on
storage bins -poor fit and quality; freezer light does not stay on; ice crystals form on freezer sides, back and on food items, ; freezer shelf does not have a back stop and food items fall from shelf ; warranty was not included with printed materials. How do I return this product?????

Not what I expected!
Posted by: FloHC from: on
A fridge is a fridge. It cools and does what it needs. But the difference in buying one or the other is the design and attention to details. This one lacks both. First of all there are bolts and nut and screw showing everywhere, top and bottom don't bother me so much as the ones in front which my Amana did not have. The texture of the handle is dry and rough instead of smooth. The doors is not heavy enough so it stays open easily if not paying attention. I have a kid so it has happened a lot already. There are still pieces of plastic from the wrapping stuck in places where I will need a screw to remove, tweezers were not enough. The cheese drawer feels like running your nails through a black board each time you open it and close it. Missing the rack for the cans which we used a lot in the old one for my son's milks and juices. I expected more from whirlpool and the sales agent did not sell it correctly either!

Good for the price
Posted by: NCNJ from: on
Great price for a bottom freezer unit that can fit in small spaces. The refrigerator storage seems a little smaller than expected but the shelves are adjustable and well-lit. The freezer drawer does not pull out very far but the capacity is ok. Overall, it's a decent unit but runs a little louder than expected for a new refrigerator.
