Q: What type of damage does this protection cover?

Q: If my phone drops and cracks, is there a co-pay or deductible to have fixed?

A: YES!! They charged me $75 copay for a phone that cost almost $400 and I only had a month...

Q: How do I upgrade to lost or stolen?

A: Well depending on what products you buy, you may not be able to. I was told I could in store when I purchased my new Note 20 Ultra and then when I called Geek Squad, they said I was told wrong information and that I don't have that option. Not very happy about it. Unlike Samsung and most cell phone carriers, Geek Squad is the only one I know of that promises that option but then tells you after your purchase that it's not available. Sorry to be the one to break the bad news. Hopefully they can change that in the future.

Q: How long does it take to repair a cracked screen on a samsung galaxy s20 plus

A: They won't fix it right now as there aren't samsung repairs in store. However, they won't tell you this until you're at your appointment. Even if you have geeksquad you'll have to pay $200 for a refurb replacement, and they won't give you a full refund on geeksquad despite not letting you use it. Your best bet is your manufacturer warranty. Happened to me and they kept almost $70 of my geeksquad warranty money for absolutely nothing. They just want your money : /

Q: Can I update my 1-year Geek Squad Protection Plan to a 2-year plan after I've already bought the 1-year one?

A: No I asked the question when purchasing the year warranty on 03/01/2021

Q: Do you have to get the accidental plan when purchasing, can you get after like to a certain time frame after purchasing the item like 14 days or 30 days to decide to get the accidental plan.

A: Hi Ann. Thanks for your great question. Depending on your Best Buy rewards status, you may have anywhere from 14-45 days to add that protection plan.
