The 2 year geek squad plan was used within 4 months at no fault of ours. Nintendo switch quit turning on. (Had not been dropped, no accidents, etc.). Worried that since system failed we will continue to have problems can we purchase a new geek squad plan?

With a phone, we don't charge that to repair it. Instead, you would be getting a new phone of the same model. I hope this clarifies a little bit.
