I just purchased Insignia CD Boombox along with 2 year replacement plan. Question, if I have a problem within 2 year replacement period, am I going to need the original box for repair or replacement?
Answered by GeekSquadSupportThanks for asking! Boxes and packaging are not needed for repair or replacement services.
Is the 2-year replacement plan an extension beyond the manufacturers warranty? The product I am interested in purchasing currently has a 2-year warranty. Would I be getting 4-years of protection if I purchase the $39.99 plan?
Answered by GeekSquadSupportThanks for your question! At this time, the Geek Squad Product Replacement plans start at time of purchase and, as such, run concurrent with the manufacturer's warranty in this case. The Geek Squad Product Replacement plan often does cover more than what the general manufacturer's warranty covers. The full terms and conditions for our plans can be reviewed any time at www.geeksquad.com/termsconditions.
I bought a JBL bluetooth speaker with a clip so that I can attach it to my bike/gym bag. The clip broke. I purchased the warranty. Does it cover the broken clip?
Answered by GeekSquadSupportHi there. Thanks for your great question. I'm sorry to hear about the speaker's clip breaking. We'd be happy to swap that out for you. To get started, please head into your local Best Buy and we'll work with you to get a replacement right there. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
I just bought the JLab Ear Buds for a gift and also added the 2 year Product replacement. I bought this online. What do I give with the gift to let them know how to register with the 2 year warranty. Nothing printed out for me to include.
Answered by GeekSquadSupportThe Geek Squad Protection is registered at time of purchase and you should have received an email regarding your protection plan after placing the purchase. The full terms and conditions for the plan can be reviewed any time at www.geeksquad.com/termsconditions.
