I always get an extended warranty theses days. Electronics are so unpredictable, and disposable. Best Buy is good on their warranty! Replaced a TV that I had for almost 4 years. They gave me store credit for the price I paid for the original TV, and sent me happily on my way!!! They even replaced up to 2 remotes for the course of time. one fell apart and the other just stopped working. They had a little difficulty finding just the right remote, but was happy in the end. I’ve been a loyal customer for absolutely 25 years.
