The adapter that I was using with my laptop would no longer charge the laptop's battery. I brought my laptop and my adapter to the Geek Squad, and a technician helped me determine that the problem was the adapter rather than the battery. The adapter that I ended up buying is identical to the one that the technician used to troubleshoot my problem. So far, it has worked well.

The best charge ever ...!!! It's faster doing his job, the cable also has a great feets longer .

Needed to replace charger for my laptop that had been stolen out of hotel room while dropping my son off at college. Pretty much the same charger that came with the laptop when I purchased it recently and it works great. Little pricey but was worth getting from Best Buy where I made my laptop purchase vrs cheaper brands/models found online.

Always replace a cord with that specific name brand. If you don't and you buy a generic cord..... SOMETIMES they work and SOMETIMES they don't.... This one was a no-brainer...... Go with the HPF replacement and it works 100% of the time all the time!!! I work from home and have gone through numerous replacement cords for one reason or another....

I got my original AC adapter for my HP Envy wet so had to replace it. The HP 90W Smart AC Adapter seems exactly like the original. I've had it for several months now and works great. It was slightly more expensive than other brands, but I wanted a replacement that was made by HP, so am very happy they had one.

was a bit higher priced than online prices (about $20 higher) but the store was close enough to make it worth it and the unit worked fine, but do not care for the 90 degree pigtail - gets in the way

It was a perfect fit and exactly what I was looking for. Best Buy was the only place in town that had it. Works great!

I found that this adapter works great. The one problem is I can see myself losing the little end piece someday in the future. I wish that it would not be as easy to come apart.

THIS CHARGER WAS A PERFECT REPLACEMENT FOR THE HP CHARGER THAT WENT BAD!!! I LIKED THE FACT THAT IT HAD 2 DIFFERENT ADAPTERS IN THE BOX TO COVER 2 DIFFERENT TYPES OF CHARGING PORTS ON THE HP COMPUTER YOU HAVE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HP CHARGER REPLACEMENT!!! I WAS SURPRISED THAT THE PRICE WAS VERY LOW CONSIDERING THAT IT IS AN ACTUAL HP PRODUCT!!! IF IN DOUBT GO AHEAD & BUY IT!!!

Worked with my laptop. I lost my adapter during a recent trip. Adapter itself is a bit heavy and bulky but it served it purpose. The HP manual for my laptop was worthless telling me what adapter would work. The sales person inside Best Buy was extremely helpful, made sure the adapter worked before I purchased it. Best Buy's website let me know what was in stock before I made the trip to purchase.

Finally something no First Grader could could put me down doing. I plugged that Smart cord in my computer, routed it around a few desk items, then plugged it into an unprotected wall plug, pushed the power button on my HP Pavillion...and whalah, I was back in business. Thanks Best Buy sales rep.

Charges my laptop just fine, does overheat a little if on for too long

I lost my original adapter on a business trip & needed a replacement quickly. It's exactly the same, being an HP adapter for my laptop, as the original I lost. Was glad Best Buy had it in stock to purchase in store.

I had to get a replacement cord for my HP dv7 laptop. The previous one I got off Amazon broke after 6 months, cord shredded on its own and it just stopped working. Spent a little bit more and got a perfect replacement - works great, no issues. Definitely worth it.

I was on business travel and I forgot my laptop charger to carry with me. I went to BestBuy and bought this charger. Charger is compact and really comes handy. Best buy for your HP laptop. I comes with connector which makes it works for various HP laptops.

I tried a few off brand AC adapters for my laptop, ..but seemed to experience power interruptions. The connection was in & out. So i decided to go the more expensive route & get the HP 90W smart AC adapter. Finally got the results i needed..Thanks Hp;)

My power cord died. My computer is going to be 6 years old and I was worried that I would not find a replacement cord. I had seen this this at a competitors however they were charging $30.00 more. Best Buy made my day, month and New Year!!!!
