Hoping to leave a youth marred by drugs and crime behind, boxer/stuntman Billy Moore (Joe Cole) cleaned up and left Liverpool for a fresh start in Thailand. It didn't take him long to backslide, however, and he soon drew a three-year stretch in one of Bangkok's most notorious and corrupt prisons. The harrowing story of his survival, through involvement in the inmates' Muay Thai team, is recounted in this grueling take on Moore's 2014 memoir. Pornchanok Mabklang, Panya Yimmumphai also star. 116 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.
