I've been using Acronis True Image since 2009. It is a very good tool for backing up your data. I do recommend using more than one method to back up your data. Sometimes a backup will not work correctly and you won't know until it is too late. Using two different programs/methods to backup your data provides extra protection.

Acronis image software has always been excellent and this new version continues the best in class performance. Quick and intuitive to install and use.

Having been a long time user of Acronis, my last version being Acronis 2012, for use in the ATM field, and having to use it on a daily basis, I feel that their direction has changed as so many other companies have. It appears that they are hung up on selling cloud space as their main source of income, that they have strayed away from their nitch. That being the number one back-up software company around. I bought the CD disk version and I am glad I did. I like the CD version to back-up my 3 HD's in my desktop tower, and both HD's in my Laptop. I installed the Acronis 2016 program on my desktop and after a few weeks uninstalled it, didn't like it. I'll use the CD to back-up to my Seagate 4TB USB Drive instead. Oh yeah, one more thing, the 2012 owners manual was so much clear to read and understand than the 2016 version, just my observations. I took the printed out PDF, all 160 double sided pages, into work and let the other F.E.'s read through it and they came up with the same conclusions. All in all, Acronis 2016 is a good back-up Software Program, BUT, they are starting to make things a little two hard for the simple layman. Stick with the basics, which you are the best at and forget about getting all that cloud income.

I have used several cloning/imaging software over the years from PowerQuest Drive image to clonezilla. Lately I have been using Acronics, and for most part, it works great. I just boot the PC with the CD and backup drives periodically. Never had any issues restoring these images back whenever I tried.

It's a great tool for use on a desktop or laptop that you use a lot and make many changes to but don't feel like making an entire disk image every time you add or remove anything. The CD is also bootable to get easy access to your previous image files and restore your PC with not many steps involved.

If you need a simple and reliable solution for backup and bare metal recovery it doesn't get and easier than this. Their are a couple thing I don't like, such as no way to have it email you if you backup fails.

I have been an Acronis True Image user for over five years. It is by far the best and easiest imaging or cloning software I have used.

I have used Norton ghost for years and found this to be the best backup and restore software for both home and work. unfortunately, ghost is no longer available to me so I tried this product as an alternative. I have yet to test if it will to a complete system/image restore and if it does it will make me a believer. there are many backup products in the market place but few can do a true restore of a disk image including partitions to a new drive in case of a catastrophic disk failure.

This software does a good job for backup but is a bit hard to follow. It also defaults to it Cloud for storage which they do charge for useage.

I needed to replace an SSD with less capacity than needed, and wanted a simple-to-use software suite to migrate the programming to the new, larger SSD. A BestBuy employee recommended this suite, and it was just the ticket...quick, simple and painless migration achieved. The additional features of the software suite are great for maintaining backups and reboot files.

Computers aren't made like they used to be. Newer computer had issue. This should assist in ensuring there is not a data loss.

Installed and attempted to run the cloning twice. I couldn't tell whether it was the software or the failing drive from which I was attempting to clone. Clone failed and failed to boot. Normally, I'd vouch for the software as I use it at work....so ultimately believe it was the hard drive. Would recommend to an intermediately skilled individual rather than a novice
