Q: How far will camera broadcast back to phone?
A: As long as your cameras are linked on your WiFi you can watch them from anywhere you have service on your phone’s internet.
Q: How close does the camera have to be to the wifi system?
A: The Blink cameras need to be within 100ft of the sync module in any direction to operate, as far as how far away the system can be from your wireless router would depend on the strength of your internet/wifi, we recommend at least three bars of signal strength.
Q: How far does the range of the camera with resolution extend?
A: The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions.
Q: Can this unit be linked with my iphone?
A: Not sure what you mean by linked. But you install the Blink app on your phone and then all the configuration and monitoring is via the app on the phone. However you can install on ipads also.
A: I selected the light off function. Bad guys don't need to be alerted if they don't see the cameras.
Q: Can I mounted on the ceiling ?
A: Yes
A: Yes, via your smart phone. When you set up each camera you are able to "arm" it and "disarm" any time you wish. There is NO auto timer as far as I know.
