The program was fairly simple to use --- and seems to have more bells and whistles than I probably will use. It is great to be able to edit video before posting --- I especially appreciate the option of different transition formats when I have deleted a segment. I really have appreciated being able to improve the volume of an original video.

I'd been fortunate enough to play with this version myself (and being incredibly familiar with previous versions) before purchasing - which was incredibly good in hindsight, for activating this product is a nightmare, and one from which Adobe won't wake you anytime soon. Adobe's customer service will lead you through automatic response menus, give you the runaround, shunt you to unhelpful chats, then finally bring you back around, blame your cashier for any problems, then drop you without a further word. Incredibly unhelpful when you buy this from Best Buy - which from what I could gather from the Adobe business, didn't activate the product properly, and consequently the registration key (which is needed as a conversion tool to generate your ACTUAL serial number - a code entirely independent from the Best Buy serial number on the sticker on the back) consistently reads as dead, and you won't get much more out of Adobe than a noncommittal shrug. Considering I ring these out on a daily basis and have never received any sort of special instructions on how to treat Adobe products - or at least instructions that aren't already stamped out on the BBY stickers, I'd presume it's something a bit more than "your cashier goofed." I HAD read on some forums (in which this is a common problem that, as of the time of writing, hasn't appeared to have been resolved) that perhaps some activation triggered by those stickers isn't reaching Adobe, somehow. Whatever the issue is, I hope it's fixed soon. Maybe someday I will actually use my own copy of this program. Maybe I won't. In summation: It's a lovely product. Too bad, then, that I'm docking a couple of stars for hassle that seems inexorably tied up with it. The recommendation I'm leaving is coming with several really obnoxious strings attached.

Needed something with more features than Movie Maker or iMovie, and decided to try Premiere Elements. iMovie was great to begin with, but Elements definitely is a step up. Elements isn't as easy to use as the other programs, but once you get past the learning curve, it can do quite a bit more.

I had been wanting to pick this up for a while but didnt feel ready to jump on it til it fell from the $100 price point it had been at. I purchased this while it was on sale as I get ready to launch a YouTube channel this year. It is a huge step up from the free software I had on my pc (Windows Movie Maker). Still learning but it seems to be great for my needs so far.

I've had multiple different programs for editing and this one is by far the easiest and most simplistic.

Adobe Premiere is the gold standard for the weekend movie maker. This was my first time using the software. I did not go through the tutorials included with the software but did use the different tabs (eLive, Quick, Guided, Expert). Given the large number of options and tools, it is not an intuitive program which is why I docked it a star. That being said, I have been happy with the results. If you have no movie editing experience, you should do the tutorials and follow the guided tools for your own sanity and keeping the frustration level down.

I have used premiere for years. Every couple of years I upgrade. Love the way it works with Photoshop organizer. Makes all movie clips easy to find . haven't tried all the new tools yet.

I usually use movie maker, but wanted more options for making movies.. Elements seems to do the trick.. There is a big learning curve for sure and I'm probably not even used half the features yet but still like it..

There are other video editors on the market, but Adobe Premier Elements gives me the tools that I need and I'm familiar with in a scaled down package from full blown Premier. Most of us will never use full tool set that is offered in Premier Elements let alone the full version of Premier.

I was using Movie Maker for a long time but needed something that could do more, Adobe Elements was definitely a step up. It has a lot of great features and effects that Movie Maker didn't have. There is definitely a learning curve, you can view some great tutorial videos on YouTube.

I needed an editing program that didn't break the bank and having been familiar with Adobe Photoshop Elements, I decided to take the chance on Premiere Elements. Although it doesn't have the same bells and whistles as Adobe Premiere, Premiere Elements has enough of the bells and whistles to allow you to create awesome home videos. There are tutorials throughout this application so learning how to use it couldn't be easier.

I'm sure this editing software is very good, but I'm having trouble figuring out everything it can do! Feeling frustrated. Even tho I'm not very computer savvy, I'd probably still recommend

Overall i like the layout of the program. Took several video tutorials on youtube to figure it out but once you do its pretty straight forward

Adobe Premiere Elements 14 is not very intuitive initially and I found it necessary to watch a few helpful online tutorial videos to get me started. After watching the tutorials, I was able to produce quite a few videos for family viewing. It's also great for making slide shows from still images.

Nice program with all the features and more than you would need. To do the advanced features and takes learning and using the tutorials such as video merge. Easiest program I have found after reviewing others.

I have always not been impressed with Adobe Elements, but finally decided to try this software over competitors. I wished I made the switch earlier. This allows me to do all my home editing. The only downside is it is not immediately obvious how to do some editing and you need to search.

I like this but I am not very good at learning new ways of doing things and I am finding this a little hard to navigate. I am having to watch helpful videos on YouTube. I am beginning to get it but it is not as easy as I would have liked it to be.

I'm a professional Stringer for local news station. My quality of video looks incredible compared to what I was using before.
