Dimensions are approximately L-9.5, W-3.25, H-2.75 inches. The Tiger II, officially designated Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B (Sd.Kfz. 182), was a German heavy tank of World War II, known to Allied soldiers as the King Tiger and informally as Konigstiger. It was issued to heavy tank battalions of the Army and Waffen-SS, first seeing combat with the 503rd Heavy Panzer Battalion during the Allied invasion of Normandy on 11 July 1944. On the Eastern Front, the 501st Heavy Panzer Battalion was the first unit equipped with Tiger IIs, listing 25 operational tanks by 1 September 1944.
