Problem with video card , blue screen more 3 times for day ,I make update but continued the problem with the laptop I have to change because no work well

This computer is very powerful and fast, but due to all the power and a compact design, it runs extremely hot. We're talking stable 100 degrees C during any kind of load or games. There is also a very noticeable coil whine, and the fans are loud. The mechanical hard drive made some noises too, I guess I can describe the laptop as just too noisy. I unfortunately decided to return it, but if you're not too picky about the fan noise or high temps, it is a very fast laptop with great keyboard, screen and upgradability!

I had to quickly replace my old laptop because I could not do video conferencing at all or other things (I dropped it one too many times). The first replacement crashed twice within 24 hours but I got this one and have not had any problems since. I can do video conferencing, record and edit videos for YouTube, even play my game that I used to do on the phone, on this computer (my phone quit loading it for some reason). I already had an external CD/DVD drive and I had to buy a device to be able to read micro SD cards. I can't get my plug in headphones to work but my both of my bluetooth ones work. I am constantly on my computer using multiple apps and using multiple tabs in the browser and it handles it all. The fan gets loud when I'm recording or playing my game but you can't hear it on the videos that are recorded. It sometimes gets hot when recording or playing games as well but will cool down easily.

I like the light weight and compact design. Keyboard is good but the FN keys are a little small for me. I tend to either have to take my eyes off the screen while gaming looking for it or have a decent chance of pushing more than one key. The picture quality is really nice. It has a major contrast compared to the previous laptop I had. Though the screen tends to not fit on the games I play. Even when I shortcut the full screen mode it tends to cut out the edges of my game and it is annoying. It starts up really fast. About 8-10 secs and it is already on the home screen. Overall I am happy and satisfied with the laptop. I just need to make some adjustments with the screen and I would enjoy it even more.

This laptop was meant for my son who enjoyed it for a few days but we ended up returning it (bought it as an “open box” item at a greatly reduced price) only because he had his mind set on the larger (and much heavier, mind you) 17 inch size laptop (17.3 inch screen). In all fairness, there was absolutely nothing wrong with it nor was it lacking in areas performance-wise and it was a huge upgrade from his former non-gaming laptop, but my son just wanted the larger model. So we ended up buying an Alienware 17 R5. Ironically, he felt he liked this 15-incher a little better as it was “just as good“ but was much lighter and easier to transport, as he later found out during our flight from Illinois back to Las Vegas.

This laptop worked well and loaded very quickly. However, the battery life was terrible. It had to be constantly plugged in. Online it said that they battery life was 4-5 hours, but in reality it only ran for about an hour and 45 min when only running chrome. I tried to make as many adjustments as possible, but could not get the battery to run longer than 2 hours. It also ran very hot. I checked on reddit and this is a common issue with this laptop and returned it for a razon 15.

This laptop is really fast, it doesn’t overheat and I can do all I want with it, I use it for programming and playing games. I can use a Wireless screen and the killer WiFi is amazing.

Not a problem since I purchased it. Plenty of gaming power and storage space. Very responsive when gaming.

This laptop meets all my wants and needs. Was a Big Mac user but not after the speed of this machine!

I would recommend a cooling pad because it heats up quite quickly when running a larger program.

My boyfriend bought this computer so he could process and edit videos for his YouTube channel a lot faster. He needed something that processed quickly especially with multiple programs running at the same time.

Bought this laptop for my son who uses it for programming and gaming. He absolutely loves the fast speed and awesome graphics.

Best laptop I’ve ever owned. We didn’t need this for gaming, but for video conferencing of 65 plus people. The extras are just bonuses. Worth every penny

pricey but Good laptop have had it for a year now, gets really hot and has a low battery life but gaming on it has been good.

Gets you in the door with alienware. Looks great and works great all around. These also last a long time technology wise.

it cheaper version of alien. air-cooled very fast. when Comcast 1gb internet works good. speed 970 and 41 upload.

This is my 2nd Dell alienware computer. I love the upgrades and advances in the new model. Bestbuy had the best pricing of the laptop and accessories, and the online shopping experience was great.

Love it! It's the perfect size and is great to play my games. No lagging.
