This is by far one of the best desktops that I have purchased in a long time. I used to build desktops so I was skeptical in purchasing a Dell product. However, I was very surprised to see how fast and quiet this machine is...let alone how amazing it looks!! The RTX 2080 Super is lightning fast and handles everything with ease! Overall, extremely happy that I purchased this gorgeous machine.

I bought 2 of these for my sons for gaming PCs. They absolutely love them and have been able to play all of the games they have been installing. The Alienware control center to control the RGB lighting for both the case as well as the Alienware keyboard and mouse is outstanding.

Overall great starter pc to get started into pc gaming. But once you actually learn a bit about Alienware/Dell, you'll sure be disappointed. Alienware uses propietary Alienware parts. i.e. if you want to upgrade ram, cooler, psu or anything it needs to be alienware specific parts. Upgraded ram, turned on xmp profile, and pc wouldnt boot. Turns out if you dont order RAM from alienware themselves, you cannot utilize your xmp profile. They use a specific voltage and timing. The psu is specially designed by alienware, and the mobo pegs are designed differently from them as well. Overall great starter pc, its overpriced, a headache to upgrade or if you have to rma. Do yourself a favor and build your own.

I have really enjoyed a 10 year old Alienware gaming computer. When my home office computer needed replacing, I went to Best Buy to get another one. I was surprised to see an Alienware gaming computer in my price range, so I purchased it, relegating my older one to office work. It is great! The only surprise is that it doesn't have a dvd/blue ray drive.

Evrything seems to be working smoothly. I do wish I would have gotten the 32gb memory version if the pc. That said it does seems over priced specially if you want to get matching products like monitors, keyboard, and mouse. You would think some of these would be included for the amount you pay... but nope standard mouse and keyboard.

Great out of the box with new game compatibility. The Alienware Command Center is great for controlling all the PC's systems.

It is fast and just what he wanted as an upgrade to hhis old PC. He said he loves it and would recommend it to his friends and classmates.

If you like the old Alienware computers and the nostalgia of the old computers, this is a great buy for you. I love the sleekness of the computer and brings back memory's of playing my old Alienware. Yes u can go buy a computer with all the lights and gadgets so u can see inside and be hypnotized by all the lights or have someone walk in and say "oh Alienware". Everyone knows your gaming with dominance with an Alienware. Lights can be customized on the side and the front panel.

After discussing with a friend whether or not to buy a pc I was told that nowadays it’s actually better to buy a prebuilt than to make my own. In my situation to get what I wanted I would pay the same price if I were to build my own so I figured I’d save myself the time. This computer is a monster. Runs very smoothly and I could not be happier to start streaming and playing pc and Xbox games

The reason I choose an Alienware over the countless gaming PC's for sale is because with Alienware you know what your getting. Your getting a computer that is ready to go out of the box no questions asked. Prior to purchasing an Alienware I had a CyberpowerPC with the same specs as this Alienware. The price was significantly cheaper and well I guess I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for after the motherboard went bad within a month and the customer service essentially did nothing for me. I have never had a single issue with Alienware aside from a driver issue I caused myself. When I called alienware help center to resolve this they were very helpful, friendly, and efficient unlike other companies. All in all, spend the extra to get the prebuilt you really want, the extra dollars are being spent on better quality components, and on the backend with customer service.

I like the look of the case. It's much better looking than other machines. But it was just so darn loud, I couldn't keep it. I did get a lot laughs when I shared with everyone how noisy the fans were.

This beast costs about as much as parting and building a pc of similar quality. However you feel about prebuilt pc’s, this one changed my mind. Easily sits at 200 FPS on ultra nightmare graphics settings on Doom Eternal. Most games max settings are from 150-200 FPS.

If you’re interested in purchasing a $2000.00 “gaming pc” and then having to upgrade it this is the pc for you. Even while running idle this pc sounds like a 747 on take off. Poor design and sub par performance for the price point. While under a heavy load you will not be able to focus on anything except the obnoxious sound this pc emits. The air cooling system is extremely loud and still very poor at its job gaming for 10-20 minutes the gpu was hitting 190-220F. There are many other options for a pre built out there for the same or lower prices that do not require any upgrades. To be fair I bought this pc without any research due to owning Alienware PCs in the past, but this is just not a very good product for the price.

Josh,
We are sorry to hear about the noise that your computer fan is creating. There is a BIOS update that is available for this model that should have helped with the fan noise: https://dell.to/2XAULtU.
We're sorry to hear that you returned your computer but if you decide to purchase an Alienware computer again in the future we'd suggest using the Alienware Control Center to help manage the heat settings on your computer.
