Coming from a non-oled 1440p 144hz monitor, this monitor is jaw dropping. The curve isnt too much, so you are disoriented. The Qd-oled glossy texture is amazing. 4k is night and day spectacular. 240hz is just the cherry on top. This display is worth every penny. However, bestbuy has lost me as a customer for the rest of life. At 8:30 am Thursday I place an order at a local bestbuy for PICKUP. (The store opens at 10:00 am) At 8:45 am I receive an email saying that bestbuy actually sold the item that I bought and that I will have to wait 2 weeks for the store to get one for me. I then call customer support and ask what happened, the customer service rep tells me someone at the store had it in their cart and bought it before it processed my online order. 3a. This is a blatant lie because the store doesnt open until 10:00... 4. Oh well, the customer service rep orders me the item with next day delivery! Im like 6/10 satisfied at this point. 4a. The customer service rep doesnt enter my address in correctly (I was fluently trying to communicate the best I possibly could to make sure this didn't happen) the address he enters isn't this one but its the idea - 110 Donny 3 louisiana Maine Texas 70559 5. I call to resolve the wrong address and am talking to a new rep for over 2 hours to try to fix this mistake (I called within 2 minutes of previous call) they seem to resolve it on their end, however I wasn't able to confirm the address change on my end. --- (side note, I told the rep that its most likely not changed, I had a gut feeling at this point and asked to speak to her supervisor so we could make sure this gets fixed befo4e it gets on a plane, while waiting 1 hour to speak to thw supervisor i get hung up on) 5a. I get the UPS tracking number and all the information is for the wrong address. 6. Had to call UPS to fix the address. 7. Package arrives at my house, woohoo? 8. The "excellent" condition open box i ordered did not come in a box. It came in the shipping box and COMPLETELY DESTROYED. Ive attached pictures of the bad boy. Ive never had a company drop the ball this many times. Im actually shook. After going in person to the store, they refunded my order and I paid the difference to just get a brand new one. I didnt expect to get anything for the 2 days of my time wasted, and I didn't.

Works great for around 2 months then everytime you cut it on you get a blank screen. Power lights come on but black screen. Common issue with others if you google the problem. Lots of others are dealing with this as well. Had this happened before the return window was closed I would get a refund.

I purchased this $1300 monitor from Best Buy as an open box - excellent item and even paid for expedited shipping. It arrived a day later than it would have had I used standard shipping. The box was in terrible shape (and a bit of foreshadowing, there was a decent sized dent on the bottom of the box which indicated substantial force was applied onto the monitor screen itself. More on that soon!). Next, it was missing the back plate cover, which covers all visible cables. Also, it was missing the display port cable, and the power cable also… Sorry for saying “cable” so many times. Cable. There was food or some kind of gunky debris all over the screen, and the internals were covered in an inordinate amount of dust and hair. So, I cleaned it up and used my own cables to power up the device and connect it to my PC. I figured that for a couple hundred dollars off this was sort of to be expected, but at this point I was already starting to feel like I’d gotten a pretty crummy deal. Now, onto the monitor itself - It honestly worked really well, and the display was beautiful. I have owned Dell products, and absolutely loved them. Specifically, their high-end monitors. However, after two days I noticed a tremendously obvious and discolored line running vertically from the top of the monitor to the bottom (image attached). Placing my Sherlock Holmes cap on, I put the monitor back in the box the way that it was shipped. Big surprise, the vertically-discolored line running top-to-bottom of the screen measured up perfectly to the exterior dent on the box. Anyways, I tried running tests through the monitor itself, and even unplugged the display port cable to make sure it wasn’t my PC. It wasn’t. I worked on it for a couple hours, to no avail. So, I created a return with Best Buy, no big deal. I then decided to buy one brand new, but Best Buy would not price match with Dell ($200.00 less) as they are not a verified competitor? Which, admittedly, I could have researched beforehand but the fact alone is quite absurd. And Best Buy would not let me purchase a plus membership moments after I placed the order for the new monitor. The customer service agent claimed that I could be purchasing the membership in order to take advantage of Best Buy, and that the membership would have to be bought alongside any purchases in order to be honored. The new monitor (which I had bought minutes prior…) is literally being packaged for shipment AT A BEST BUY WAREHOUSE. I do not have it in my possession. That was a bit of a head scratcher, as well. I have bought and returned at least a dozen high dollar items from Best Buy and can safely say that their quality control is atrocious. Additionally, their customer service team basically just looks at information that we the customers are fully capable of viewing ourselves. So I just went to Dell.com and bought one brand new for $200 less and with a 3-yr warranty. Think I might be done buying from Best Buy :(

Monitor came with what looks like bubbles on display. There were only a few to start but the problem has gotten significantly worse. Dell support refuses to replace the monitor under the 3 year OLED warranty. Stay away from Dell/Alienware monitors. They will not stand behind the warranty.

“Open box excelent” means they will just toss the panel in with loose cables and mount so it bangs up the monitor and makes it trash. Then they wont honor the sales price for you to exchange in store asking me to spend another $400. Very disapointed in best buy, how this even left your store and shipped this way is just plane ignorance.
Got two of these from Dell. Both with scratches out of the box. Brilliant display on the first one and a terrible, yellow and washed out display on the second. Waiting on the second replacement and if it's not good, I'll buy something else.

Has anyone noticed that a lot of Best Buy's product prices, are now seriously being marked up? This was around $750 when I bought mine, now for the holidays it's over $1100. Someone told me this happens around Black Friday but wow.

Yes it looks great! I bought it. 5 months later my screen stopped working completely. I contact dell customer service they sent me a replacement that was refurbished that was also not working! Now I have to wait for the original one to arrive to there warehouse (10days) then to open a new ticket for the replacment. Its a joke.

I would love to review this monitor, but the first one I received had scratches on the screen. After exchanging it at Best Buy, not even one month in, the OSD "joystick" is acting up / broken and with the OSD constantly popping up, the monitor is unusable. Since Best Buy's return policy for monitors is 15 days, I am now stuck working with Dell Support, which is absolutely awful. Instead of just sending me a new one, which they have in-stock, I get to wait over two weeks for them to send me what will likely be a refurbished one, because it is backordered?!?!. I would advise anyone considering this monitor to understand that you are taking a chance on yours never having any issue and then being likely being stuck waiting and hoping Dell actually helps...

I was mislead by the associate who sold me this monitor, I have cash in hand and just want to pay for my monitor and he is more intrested in running my credit even after telling him 3 times no! He said nothing will happen and I’ll get discount off the item. I didn’t get a discount only for him to say I didn’t pass the credit. He did not educate me on the product and let me know that a curve monitor will not work with adobe photoshop.

This is review is based off of Best buys lack of commitment to its loyal customers. I bought to pair with the 5090. I'm total tech member, and usually purchase all my electronics from BB. However, to let scalpers grab the new GPUs before offering it to loyal customers is a bad practice.

2nd one I’ve had where the display overheats and causes it to shut down. Luckily geek squad covers this but I have experienced thermal warnings and I’ve had other OLED TV and Monitors that haven’t given me this much of an issue

Purchased from Best buy, tracking shows it was never delivered. Best buy decided to keep my money saying that it was, even with me sending proof of the tracking!

Dead pixel after just one year - I do have the warranty so I’ll try to get it replace but they normally don’t like replacing just one pixel I heard so that’s fked

Incredible picture and smooth movement, but it died 6 days after the return window closed, won't turn on after trying all the quick fixes, so there's a grand down the toilet.

This monitor blanks out randomly when I connected it using the display port cable (with a Dell USB-C adapter) to my Lenovo Thinkpad and later my M4 MacBook Pro. I also tried using an HDMI cable which also had similar issues. The screen flickers. The Dell Technical support could not fix the issue and they are going to replace it with a refurbished monitor. I am truly disappointed with this monitor.

The screen constantly randomly changes in brightness and even though i bought the extended warranty with it. Best buy refuses to let me exchange it. 3 months after ive gotten it.

Bought last week. It doesnt turn on. It stays only 5 seconds turned on, then the power goes off. Have to wait like 5 minutes to try again. The manufacturer doesnt even answer me for the warranty. I lost 1k in this. I would never buy dell/alienware again

Monitor looks very nice, worked consistently for 6 weeks. Then, intermittent pixel distortions on half the screen leading to complete failure at 8 weeks. I recommend avoiding this Alienware monitor.
