This is a wicked fast monitor, but one think you should no is it has NO aux port. This is just not viable for me. I play on Xbox Series X and I'm chasing e-sports latency. The only way to achieve that with Xbox is to run audio via HDMI to monitor aux but because this doesn't have a 3.5 mm aux port it's just not a workable monitor. I was sad about that because I loved the settings and colors on this monitor.

The Alienware AW3225QF is a 32-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. It offers excellent color accuracy and a vibrant display, making it a solid choice for both gaming and multimedia use. The monitor's design is sleek and modern, with a slight curve that enhances the viewing experience. However, it comes with a high price tag, which might not be justifiable for everyone. Additionally, while the monitor performs well in most scenarios, I noticed noticeable VRR flicker with changing frame rates. I ended up returning in favor of a LG C4 TV.

Bought the monitor two days ago. Have ordered some Dolby Vision movies but, have not arrived. So, I was just watching some You Tube 4k Dolby. In short, I don't think the monitor does HDR right. The point of HDR is that lighting should be set properly so all objects, dark or light, have detail in them. With this monitor, bright object look blown out. Not always but, bright objects in full sun scenes seem to be washed out. And, there's nothing you can do about it. There are all of three Dolby settings, game, dark and light. And, I have it set for dark. Dell either needs to add a gamma setting or a brightness setting. Although I'm irked right now and would like to bring it back, I need to see what 4k disks look like. Clearly the problem could exist in the source material. Otherwise, this is a decent monitor. I'm coming from an NEC lookup table / calibration style monitor so I'm used to spot on colors. Can't say this always looks spot on. Problem is, Dell isn't really addressing this in their manual. You can create a windows ICC profile. The question then becomes will that be used across all modes or will Dolby throw it out?

Screen looks clear and hdr looks good. Used with an rtx 4090. Framerate is smooth. For some reason I only get 60hz max from my work computer when using hdmi port. My monitor came with marks on it from the bubble wrap it was shipped in so I will be returning it. Will probably buy again at a later date in hopes of getting one with no marks on the screen.

This was the perfect in the middle for everything i wanted. Perfect panel, great picture, not to big, not to small. Only down side is the protective screen shows in some spots but once the monitor is on it goes away. Years later and everyday use without running the refresh ive noticed zero burns and no dead areas.

The picture is fantastic but AW stopper updating it and i have ran into countless green screen boots (hasnt happened once with any other monitor since). The calibration is pretty poor compared to msi oled also out of the box although i calinrate it myself. FYI!!! If you have windows, this monitor with the usb cable will continously try to install AW command center through windows updates every once and a while. I unstalled it and the device in device manager...this cause my pc to go haywire for 10+ mins. Before you ask, i narrowed it dow to thsi monitor

Curve is awful. Screen coating is awful. OLED is as expected. Containe enormous amount of cheap plastic in construction. Meh.

At $1200 this monitor should support Gsync and Freesync. This monitor doesn't support AMD Freesync. I returned the monitor after getting an AMD 7900XT. The picture is amazing if you have nvidia and will never buy an AMD card no matter how good they are. The menu is also kind of terrible too.

What can i say..i normally love Dell and AW monitors but this was did mot compete with my AW3432 dwf. The brightness was bad, qnd colors did not pop like my ultrawide did. I returned this.

Screen quality is amazingly good, my biggest complaint is the joystick to adjust settings on the monitor does not work, you can go left to right but not up and down, did some research and it seems to be a common problem with these that they refuse to fix.

Green screened 3 times. Panel flickers in and out of HDR mode too much. Even after calibration colors are off. Bummer because I really didn’t want to have to get the Samsung version of this monitor since Tizen OS is a PITA. Oh well.

BLUF: Great for consoles. Latest graphics card needed for max performance. Has a big border where the pixels don't reach the edge. Pros: – Clear smooth graphics – Black blacks with HDR – Responsive – Great size – First 4K QD-OLED – Customize lighting – Great cord management Cons: – Causes screen blackouts at max settings on PCs – 4K 240Hz only with high end graphics cards – Pixels don't go to the edge I was really excited to try out this 4K OLED monitor. This is pretty much just a small TV at this point. I plugged in my Xbox Series X and played Froza Horizon 5 on it and it was beautiful. Great depth and buttery smooth. Moving it over to my gaming PC was a little bit different story. I have an older Alienware Aurora R8 that has an NVIDIA RTX 2070 and I could not get it to do 240Hz at 4K. I had to drop it down to 1080p to get 240Hz. I moved it back to 4K and played Destiny 2, Diablo 3, and EVE Online. They played fine but with Destiny 2 it started having artifacts with fast movement and during intense battles it would flash black while the graphics card was trying to keep up. To clear this up I had to lower the graphics and drop HDR losing that nice picture. Diablo 3 ended up even having this after long game play. For completeness I stepped up to my Alienware Aurora R16 with an NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti. With the higher end graphics card I was finally able to get the monitor to 4K 240Hz and it was really awesome. Playing those three games again I was able to not have any artifacts and experience ultimate smoothness. However, Destiny 2 would totally crash during intense battles. With both PCs they had the latest graphics card drivers and I even updated the firmware on the monitor. I loaded up some 4K content to watch and it looked amazing with no issues there. I wanted to really love this monitor but I just can't tell where the issues lie. Either the monitor still has some glitches or it's just so far ahead of it's time that only the highest end graphics cards can keep up. Based on that I can't comfortably recommend it unless someone has a top notch graphics card or is just going to use it with a console. If you can't use it at it's max then what's the point in paying for that level.

I had this monitor, the MSI Mag 32in, and the MSI MPG 32in. MSI monitors beat it. The monitor is nice, but for the price, I would get the MSI as it has better colors, is slightly brighter, and does not flicker. Maybe they can fix the issues with updates in the future.

I have owned two of these monitors (through Dell) and both have been afflicted by scratches across the screen through shipping. This is due to the bubble sheet they place directly against the display, it rubs against the panel in shipping when moved and as a result scratches the display permanently. I really wish Dell would wise up and cease this shipping practice as it has to be killing their bottom line with the return rate for this reason. Not the first monitor they have shipped like this either, AW3423DWF also still suffers from this to this day. I haven't even mentioned the Dolby Vision issue yet. Probably best to wait for the MSI 321URX that's nearly $300 less, same panel and better features overall.

Pretty decent display with some bugs including getting stuck in Dolby Vision but latest firmware might address that. Warning to those who have consoles this monitor does not have a 3.5 mm audio jack so no way other than using HDMI eARC to get audio to speakers. Had to use an audio extractor to connect PC speakers. Returned mine and waiting for other options that are coming.
