Great laptop so far, have had it for a few months now and this is what I have to say about it
The Good:
Great build/design/sturdy, 85 watt GPU, upgradeable storage, super thin/portable, decent battery life (doing basic stuff), USB C charging, fantastic 16:10 165hz 2K display, port selection is good, great keyboard and mouse, good air flow and it has Facial recognition
The bad:
Speakers need work/they sound crackly, soldiered ram is such an Apple move, trackpad is narrow, all ports are on the back, price is high for what you get
Conclusion:
As you can tell, this laptop has more pros than cons, but the cons are still worth considering. If you do buy this, make sure never to pay full price, instead of paying $1700.00 for this I paid $999.99 NEW, (basically $1000.00 lol) and for that price it's a no brainer! You get a good performing RTX 4050 (85 watt), upgradeable storage and something that's built well. The display is defiantly better than most IPS panels. The refresh rate, no backlight bleed, its bright, good resolution and it being a 16:10 makes it easily one the best! Battery life is good, getting me about 5 hours of doing the basics such as watching YouTube, Facebook, typing documents and reading. If you do anything more demanding maybe bring the charger lol. The airflow is superb! This has vents on the top of the keyboard deck, on the sides, bottom and back. Never had this overheat on me even in the most intense battles. Like honestly, if you're wanting a solid laptop to do it all I think this is it for most people! Play most games on med/high settings, take it to college, enjoy media off it or whatever else you do, this will do it well. Really the only thing this won't do is 4K gaming. I mean any RTX 4050/4060/4070 won't do 4K gaming too well. If that's what you need/want, then maybe look for a laptop with at least an RTX 3080/3090/4080/4090. Overall, this is a great machine and Im happy I bought it:)
