With pre-processed food and ingredients getting less healthy, it was time to take our flour into our own hands. This fits right on our Kitchenaid and will grind any grain into flour easily. Not sure about the other review saying that it was causing their machine to strain, mine uses it with ease. Even turn popcorn into fresh cornmeal! This thing is fantastic! Get whole grain goodness by milling your own flour.

It is a nice addition. Only negative is not being able to mill the seeds with higher oil content. A hammer mill would do it better I guess. But it is a nice attachment to have for many other seeds and mostly for grains.

My daughter absolutely loves it! She said it was effortless to make her own flower. All metal is the way to go-durable and easy to clean!!

Attaches to existing machine. Great in that no stand-alone machine needed to be bought. Works very well. Grinding from miniscule to large is available as it should be. Grinds hard rice grains as well as more normal grains.

It works however, it was slower than expect and was concerned about burning or overheating the motor. Good for small amounts versus larger amounts.

It is terribly slow, not cost effective at all. If you stop the mixer and try to start again it will stall..Probably burn out if not switched off immediately .. I have a 450 watt mixer, not the smallest by far.. This grinder is not practicable at all. Waster of money. I am afraid to use it again. I was grinding popcorn..

This item came with a stripped screw on the top. In order to clean it it has to be removed. It was only used 1 time to grind egg shells. When Best Buy was contacted they would do NOTHING to help as it was over 15 days old. (Which I certainly did not know it had to be used and considered good working quality in 15 days) They did NOTHING. So I contacted Kitchen aide. I waited on HOLD for over 1 hour and 4 mins for the representative to put me back on hold...then HANG up on me! I will report to the BBB next. Needless to say DO NOT buy anything online as you only have 15 days to return.

Use it to make flour and it works.it is easy to operate and clean.

Love making my family homemade bread with this machine.

Although I haven't had a chance to use it, I know it will come in very handy when I grow my own wheat. I like to bake bread and plan to use it to mill my own flour.

Great product. Definitely worth the buy when there's a good sale!
