I’m using this with an Akai MPC One and it works perfectly. The bottom lip of the stand rests below the MPC One’s headphone-Jack and SD slot, allowing access while on the stand (see pic). The MPC sits securely w/ no movement even if you’re heavy on the pads.

This laptop stand works well - particularly if you need to adjust the angle for typing on the keyboard. It is also good to allow the heat from the laptop to escape underneath (if you don't have a cooling fan device). I have a very thin 16" laptop, and it fits well.

Great if using as a stand with a separate keyboard. If you will be using the keyboard on the laptop you will not be pleased as the metal lip is taller than most laptops. However the stand is solid with many height options. Well made and not cheap plastic. If you are using a detached keyboard this stand is awesome.

I like these laptop stands and have several. They provide good passive cooling, help hide adapters and wires, and lift laptop screens to be nearer to secondary monitors for extending the computer desktops. I bought these when on sale, so it was a good bargain.

Abit heavy but look really premium love the height scale option for your laptop supports all sizes screen. Just what I was looking for all this time.

Solid and very durable as it's made entirely of metal. None of that cheap plastic so if you're looking for a heavy and secure laptop stand than this item is for you. Now if you're looking for something portable and easy to transport.. this isn't the item for you as it's heavy and clanks all over the place.

Does what it is supposed to do. The holes allow ventilation and decreases weight. All metal for sturdiness. Metal bracket to adjust angle. Sturdy, does not wobble

Super heavy, but I love that you can have different angles and that doesn't strap the computer - easy to put laptop on and off, unlike others that have a weird clip in the bottom. If you don't need to take it to the office, is a great purchase!

This product does what it is supposed to do. There are different levels of adjustment which is nice when I switch from using a wireless keyboard to using the built-in keyboard on my laptop. Well built as well seems very sturdy.

Tried buying this product almost a year ago. And of course it was not available. When I finally saw it again I didn't hesitate to buy it. I love it the different ways to set it up from my laptop. Great product.

This stand is perfect design and a value price! The ability to adjust the angle if a great feature. Sturdy construction too. 2 friends also purchased on my recommendation.

SO solid and sturdy. Yes, it's heavy, but that's what makes it so reliable in its purpose. The lip that others are mentioning in their review is not something I notice, perhaps because my setup allows my hands/wrists to type at an angle above the lip, even with my wrists resing on that area of the laptop.

I did not want to write this review. I am sure that I did this once, so what happened to it? The angles are all too steep for using this as a stand to type on the keyboard. Maybe it is okay for movies or something, but not for writing emails. I have it at the shallowest angle, not even one of the notches. THEN, the front edge that holds the laptop is sharp. If I at all rest my wrists on it while typing, it hurts. I have had to put a folded cloth napkin on it to try to cushion it. I guess this product does what it is advertised to do. It seems to be well built. It just is not what I truly needed, but I have adapted.

Sturdy adjustable metal stand. Works well. Only issue is it is metal gray, not black. The description should be corrected.

This is a heavy, solid stand. It's not particularly portable but it's well built. Specs say it will support up to 13lbs (does a laptop that heavy exist?) and I'm certain that's correct.

If your laptop heats up this stand really helps. You can adjust the angle and heat can escape through the holes in the base.

I am really pleased with this stand. It is sturdy and serves the purpose. It is a great purchase for those who prefer a stationary stand.

Very solid. Doesn't slip and adjusts to the correct height for me to comfortably view the screen.

Does the job well and raises my wife's laptop to an easy viewing level. Highly recommend
