Q: What type of MicroSD card can be used with the 13.5" 3K Frame and what is the maximum card capacity?
A: 32GB or smaller. Must be formatted in FAT32.
Q: How do you auto start the slideshow in full screen?
A: go into settings > system settings > auto on and off and set your on time and off time. This starts the frame. The slideshow may take a few minutes to start but it will eventually start. On bootup the frame first goes to the main home page. Then the slideshow will begin a few minutes later.
Q: Does it have to be plugged into a power outlet for it to work?
A: Yes. All of our frames must be plugged into an AC outlet.
Q: Does the unit have builtin speaker for video play?
A: Yes, this frame does have built-in speaker.
Q: Can you hang it on the wall?
A: You can. You need to get a VESA mount but there are slots to hang these. Keep in mind these units have to be plugged into a wall outlet or power strip. They do not run on battery. For more support contact [email protected].
A: Yes, most email clients will not let you send too many photos without zip filing them or uploading them to a share folder for download and the frame does not have a web browser so it cannot handle that sort of protocol. We recommend files be no larger than 1600x1200 resolution. As for the frame's email address this is setup by the FIRST USER. This must be done before anyone can send anything to the frame. For more details on how this works contact us at [email protected].
A: Follow up, how big is too big a .jpg file for pictures? Also, do the app and the email methods use the built in 32 GB storage or does it use the cards or a cloud source?
