i purchased this refrigerator back in 12/2021 and it’s now 9/2022 less than a year and this refrigerator is rusting.. i’ve contacted the manufacturer and also best buy where i purchased the refrigerator and i was told there was nothing they can do about it because that’s considered cosmetic… i understand what they’re saying but this stainless steel refrigerator is less than a year old and is already rusting.. why? i clean it with stainless steel cleaner only so i have no idea why this happened… i wouldn’t recommend! bottom line

Decent fridge while it lasted - which was only 13 months. The factory crimped connection where the copper lines meets the steel line on the backside of fridge leaked out all the coolant at the 13 month mark. Had best buy extended warranty which isn't worth the paper its printed on - best buy repair scheduled and repair guys no show/no call. Called best buy total of 5x and they promised they "escalated it" each time and that id hear back in hours with a confirmed repair date/time. 2 weeks later and still nothing. Finally had to call an independant repair tech who cut out the bad crimp and brazed in new section of line and refilled the r600a for a total of $575 repair cost an an $1100 13 month old refridgerator. Steer clear of amana and run far far away from the scam that is best buy extended warranty.

Bought in December 2023. It worked decent except the ice maker was loud and slow. I cancelled my Best Buy coverage April 30 because they refused to help with the slow ice maker, it started making loud noises on may 5th and then the fridge died may 14th. No warranty, no help from Best Buy, NOTHING just a $1100 pile of junk with $400 worth of rotten food. I forgot to add that this fridge was a replacement for a one year old Frigidaire that had to be warrantied out due to swelling and all the inside trays would fall out.

Refrigerator was fine everything works good But delivery service is absolutely Ridiculous bought it for garage when it was delivered they removed cardboard rolled it onto garage and picked up old one and wanted to leave I ask them aren’t you going to install the handles on refrigerator doors? They said no “ you only paid for delivery and removing old one not for install” I said I don’t need you to install refrigerator but it should be assembled They just left I called Best Buy and they were absolutely no help

never got below 45 degrees in frig and 35 degrees in freezer, did dispense cool water for the first few days as we waited for replacement to be delivered. when it was picked up for return , the freezer light no longer worked , nor did it dispense water. in four days never made an ice cube.i was told by best buy delivery man that the wheels could not be adjusted, i would have to use wooden shims. this is untrue. there is adjusting bolts and instructions inside refrigerator.

This refrigerator stopped working after 4 months. It is under warranty and I have Total Tech Support. I have attempted for the last two days to get someone to repair or replace the item. The online chat refers me to a phone number. The automated phone number asks a number of question before saying we're not open and hanging up on me. How do I get this resolved without resorting to legal action?

According to my Bestbuy invoice- the salesman, indicating "Open box' 'Condition Excellent". This is not truth from the salesman. Next day came back with pickup truck- three employees from Bestbuy loaded on my truck. The problem was three Bestbuy employees were in a hurries, cause they did not have the bottom of refrigerator faces tailgate when lying on a side, facing the top to the front. Drove home- one big man and small man unloaded, no problem. The old rule to let the fridge resting for two days longer- before connecting power cord for on. The cold air very slow on both sides of the fridge. For awhile now open the fridge realized the inside very dirty- foods stains and drink spilled, but cleaned off a little, as well some dust. Took us several hours to cleaned many pieces inside the fridge. While cleaning- we realized this fridge been connected to water line cause there were some dripped of water from the coil hose inside the bottom draw- full of water filled ups the hose. Not good for me and my family. We purchased this fridge as second units in our house. But right now look like, we have a choice returning to Bestbuy.

Great refrigerator for the little time that it worked, and I only paid an amazing $945 for it at the time! However, literally 2 years in and the compressor just broke. My warranty is now expired, so I'm stuck paying for a new compressor that costs between $700-$1,200+labor or just buying a brand new refrigerator. SO disappointed! I liked this product a lot, but I definitely do not recommend buying it unless you are willing to pay the price all over again in two years.

Everything looked fine at a glance but then next day when we actually began loading things into refrigerator, we saw that the doors did not line up. Called but was put online for over an hour so I hung up. Best Buy in store customer service told me only way to get this fixed was to wait on the phone to get someone to look at it. So we returned the refrigerator.

Handles literally started falling apart (plastic pieces), within a few months. Not covered by Best Buy even though I was told they were on the phone, so they were sending the crew to come out but didn’t tell them I needed replacements, thus wasting everyone’s time and my only day off. High-end appliances lasted me almost 20 years without issues.

Fridge broke after 9 months. Luckily still under 1 year warranty. Haven't heard back from BestBuy on what the repair/replacement looks like so will possibly update my review after. But the motor started getting REALLY loud out of nowhere, 1 time, and although we didnt realize it at the time, now that it's been a few hours, we can feel that the fridge stopped producing cold temperature and everything in the freezer is melting and the fridge is getting warm. In general the fridge was not that great, the other reviews describe the water spout being poorly designed and eventually creating a stain down the freezer door. I thought it wouldn't happen to me, but even after many attempts to clear any water on the fridge door, it happened to us as well, even knowing in advance that this was a possibility and taking action daily to attempt to avoid it.

Best Buy delivered(or hired company) this fridge with a broken front wheel. Guy left and we noticed the wobble. Called him back right then. No answer. Best Buy was no help. Corporate called to say that they would bring my old fridge back but then never heard from them again. Has to call again (had called before and held for almost over an hour and a half between 4 transfers. Only to get disconnected) just to have to schedule return. Have heard nothing back from anyone again. Worst Service ever!!!

I’ve reported on the day of delivery that the water and ice dispenser doesn’t work. I was told an order for a replacement would be made. It’s been over 20 days and NO ONE from Best Buy has contacted me regarding a replacement.

I would give it ZERO stars if I could. The ice maker has yet to make as much as HALF of a bucket of ice. The crushed ice feature leaves you with ice all over the floor, and now, less than two months after ordering, the cubed Ice feature crushes the ice, whether you want it to or not.

Delivery guys are very rude, don’t do what Best Buy says. I have bought multiple times for rental properties this time may have ruined it. The doors on fridge do not line up. They said they were coming to exchange it the next day. No one ever called. May look into other options!

Best Buy only has a 15 day return on this and even during covid-19, I was told too bad, you can’t exchange it because your 6 days late. It’s noisy and its leaking water through the spout where the water and ice come out. Don’t buy this and dont buy from BBY.

The water dispenser is horrible! It drips every time you use it and runs down the front of the refrigerator. The ice maker is slow to make ice. The finish is terrible and you can't get the streaks off. I would not purchase this refrigerator again nor this name brand. I hate it!!
