We absolutely love this stove. It heats up quickly and is a simple and excellent unit. For a family with children, the knobs on the back are out of reach of the little ones. This is like the Nissan Frontier of stoves , everything you need and nothing you don’t. I’ve used many fancy glass top stoves and I honestly like this one better. We got one for a rental property and liked using it so much that we got one for our own home. Not everything needs to be complicated, sometimes simple is better. Not to mention, the price was right and this one should be easy to service for years to come . No glass top to break or scratch and it a burner goes out, you can just replace the burner (not the whole top)

Everything works just like it's supposed to. The oven cooks great

If the stove is on the highest setting for longer than a few minutes the temperature starts to drop on the eye. It’s very unusual. I also do not like the timer feature it beeps very low for a few seconds and that’s all. You never hear it again. This makes it extremely easy for food to burn if you’re not constantly checking the timer. The way the timer works on this stove, you might as well set the alarm on you cellphone if you want to actually be reminded to stop cooking your dish. I do not like this unit!

Its an oven and it works. It fit as expected and was not difficult to install. It's an appliance not a lambo.

Does the job for us. It has no fancy buttons or settings. It's the right size for our needs. The color is good also for our kitchen.

I just like this stove. It’s very usable, affordable tough, maintainable. Non-gas straight forward electric coil Amaña stove with some modern updated features but nothing too much or changing the overall basic design type.

Can't keep the water boiling, or anything else that needs high heat for that matter. Instead of just limiting the temperature itself, they cycle on and off. This means it will shut off for a few minutes, then come back on at full strength for a few minutes, etc. The danger of overheating they're designed to prevent is still there, just only half the time. Yes, I've tried reducing the setting to 9 or 8, etc. as some have suggested - it still cycles on/off when it gets up to temperature. Don't blame Amana, though. It's the incompetent UL organization that started forcing these temp sensing coils on us in 2018 to protect us from ourselves. Any other brand with coil burners will have the same issue. Best thing to do is avoid the coil-type electric ranges altogether. I only wish I'd converted to gas when I had the opportunity.

I'm very happy with this stove. I wanted a stove that didn't have a mother board and other things that can go bad. Just keep it simple and cook stuff.

This stove is the worst we've ever used. The coils don't stay hot. They heat up for about 1 minute and then get so cold that you can almost touch the coils without burning yourself. Save yourself the trouble and get a different stove. I've been emailing Amana's customer service for months and they've yet to give me an actual solution. They just reiterate that it's "normal" for the stove to behave that way. How can anyone cook when the stove is cold for 90% of your cooking time?? I'll update the review if anything changes but at this point, it doesn't look like Amana's actually willing to help in any way.
