I bought it for my parents and it works great aside from the ads that pop up which you can turn on off in the settings menu. Alexa is a useful feature but we wouldn’t ever actually use it.

This worked better than the sticks for the most part

Works great for HIGH band with Internet, the only downside is when I use it as a regular Alexa, 50% of the time it does not respond correctly

Great streaming device with lots of applications and fast

excellent picture and sound quality. Alexa is good, but not perfect. Always comes up on Amazon TV as home page. I tried to program Alexa to switch sources on my Receiver by voice, but She says she can't do it. It was this capability that I really wanted to have Alexa.

I bought this for my home, however i am currently using it for watching all of my apps at my hotel for work. Very fast and very easy setup. Only issue i had was trying to connect automatically to the hotels wifi. I jad to use my phones hotspot to run it. Overall, very good item for the money!

The Fire TV Cube is a good streaming device. It is easy to setup and use. My problem with the device is that it is VERY limited in your ability to customize the home screen and how you see the applications you install and use. The performance is good though. The customization of the home screen is my only issue with this device. If they would fix that, I would give it 5 stars.

Except unit for streaming. Has good surround sound decoding and the latest wi-fi 6. I recommend this unit.

The Amazon Fire TV cube works fine. I had a little trouble getting it set up, but I think that is because I have an older TV. Once I got it set up, it works fine.

Saw some reviews online that suggested this might be an option to replace my nvidia shield pro. It performs all the tasks i need in a snappy response, however, it doesnt perform all of the function my shield does. This is a good streaming option that doesnt quite match the nvidia shield pro capabilities, but it almost half the cost so, could be a good option for most people.

so far, I love the firecube. I haven't done everything I got it for yet, but it already does more than I wanted it to. It has a great sound, and now I can stream music in my living room in addition to controlling my tv. It's making me want to get more products that work with it so I can turn my home into a smarthome.

The build of this unit by name is right on. The apps within are great and convenient. The processor and size are just what I need. Went out and bought a second one!!

Overall ii would say this is great for what it does. I don't use the HDMI pass through feature. I honestly just wanted something with a built in Alexa so i could do hands free mode. It is much faster than the google Chromecast with Android TV that it repalced. Hoenstly the only things that annoy me isnthay it doesnt have the full functions of Alexa and you can't have kids profiles.

Better than a small fire stick. Faster and mre storage. Realy changed my tv experience.

Seems a bit twitchy at times. I have to unplug it every couple of weeks as the remote to device stops functioning. Restarting the device clears it up.

This thing is fast. Apps open and close noticeably faster than the sticks and really any other streaming device I have, including the nvidia shield tv. I love it for that but it has an annoying glitch that has not been fixed even though Amazon has known about for months. If you have it auto detect hdr format it will not properly display colors everytime you turn on the device. It corrects when you start HDR programming and then you get out of it and it's fine. But it resets when you turn it off and come back to watch later. This is something that didn't happen with the fires stick I previously had and should not be happening with their higher prices device. Another annoying setting is that you have to enable Alexa if you want it to power on and control volume 2itb my tv and receiver. The firstick did not require that and controlled my devices fine with CEC. Just another gimmick to force alexa. Amazon is failing on this one.

This model of the Amazon Fire TV has more gigabytes and a faster processor. I like how all the inputs are builtin rather than having to buy an attachment’s which is a good thing. Would recommend to purchase!

The FireTv Cube is a great product. Very versatile and can be “sideloaded” (like jailbreaking) to give you nearly unlimited content. It’s supposed to function as a voice remote for all of your components and only does a fair job in doing so. Unfortunately this new version of the FireTV Cube was unable to recognize my cable box (Pace brand) which the earlier version of the Cube did without problems. They really need to update things properly so that users can get full functionality. One plus is that the processor is much faster than previous versions so it is quite responsive!
