Customer Ratings & Reviews

Kindle is the best reader. Totally enjoyable, great size, easy to handle. This is my third Kindle and I have to say, that I've had other readers, but none of them is as easy and excellent as Amazon Kindle.

I love this Kindle version. Even though it’s not water proof, it has a great screen resolution, a matte screen (Which hides finger prints), and it’s small and very lightweight. I can read for many hours. And even though it’s just the basic, the battery life is great and the lighting works very well even though it has fewer lights than the paper white. I love it.

My wife absolutely loves it. She downsized from the Paperwhite and couldn't be happier. Just small enough to be convenient for travel or in her purse to the coffee shop but still easy to ready. She's a little lady with little hands, so if you can relate, you'll love this too!

excellent mobile e-reader. Perfect size for reading on the go. E-ink display is easy to read even in direct sunlight. Text size is adjustable even with smallish screen size. Battery life is looooong. Though the backlight is manually adjustable white LED, it’s more than adequate for reading in low light conditions. User interface is intuitive but laggy.

Wife absolutely loves this thing! Works perfect, holds a charge for days and fits in her bag without taking up much space. Highly recommend for anyone who likes to read at home or on the go!

I like that its really convenient and really easy on my eyes when i read than on my tablet because it doesnt have the glare and its very light. But that now they have the colored kindle, i feel like that i should have waited to get that instead. And i wish it has whispersync. For now, im enjoying all my ebooks.

Bought this for my daughter she loves it. Even though she usually reads paperback she told me that the kindle was so useful and less expensive. I think purchasing one for yourself or even your family can help you a lot with the money but also the content itself. There are so many good choices and they are all absolutely amazing.

I had a paperwhite that I loved but I lost so I was in the market for a new kindle but didnt want to spend a ton of money, this was the cheapest option and I have no complaints! It's super compact and lightweight, the battery lasts a really long time, I use it almost every day and probably only charge it once a week

Has been a GAME CHANGER! I love being able to read at night while my husband is asleep. I also used to take up my whole bag packing books when I went out of town. Now, I have all i need with my kindle. Still feel like I’m looking at a real page and kindle adjusts perfectly to different lighting.

It is small enough and light enough to take on the go. I read and walk, it is much lighter than cell phone. The battery life is amazing. Just wish i could turn the lock screen suggestions off.

The Kindle (2022 edition) has been exactly what I wanted as a basic, no-frills e-reader. It’s simple, lightweight, and does one thing extremely well—reading. The biggest advantage is the screen. It’s incredibly easy on the eyes, especially when reading in the dark. The adjustable front light means there’s no harsh glare, and I can read for long periods without eye strain. At the same time, it’s just as impressive outdoors—text is crisp and easy to see even in bright sunlight, just like reading a real book. The device is fast, battery life lasts a long time, and the size is perfect for holding with one hand. It’s easy to navigate, easy to download books, and there are no distractions pulling you away from reading. If you’re a basic user who just wants a comfortable, reliable reading experience day or night, this Kindle is an excellent choice. Highly recommended for anyone who loves to read without eye fatigue.

This kindle was the perfect gift for my wife. She uses it every day. The battery life on it is amazing as she reads all day and has to charge it once per week. The size is very convenient as it fits in her small back she carries everywhere

She is quite a bookworm but can only take so much with her to her dorm. This cuts out all the paperbacks so she has more room for..well everything else. Easy to read, holds a charge, and has plenty of space.

I bought this Kindle E-Reader for my son, at his reuest, as a birthday gift. When I asked him how it was a week later his response was "I love it!" Very high praise from a hard to impress young adult. My son is a avid reader and he recently decided to move on from physical books to digital at this point he is likely never going back. He found the Kindle easy to use and read with, even in bright light.

Great easy little e-reader to take anywhere. Screen is clear and easy to use

I absolutely love my Kindle & highly recommend it! It is very portable and great to use while in bed! I prefer this size over the larger paperwhite as it is more portable and fits in any purse.

Absolutely love this product. Easy to use and battery life is great

I love all the features that come with the Kindle. Best buy had my purchase ready for pickup in less than ten minutes. The Kindle is small and perfect for reading in day or night.

Best one yet! I've had a few of these (from one of the original white ones), and this new Paperwhite is the best out there - great backlight, easy page turning, and highly configurable screen. The only real negative is extra $ for a "no-ad lock screen" - kind of ridiculous... I'm guessing you can ignore the lock screen (I do), but it's the principle. There are other great Kindles out there to match your personal preferences as well - bigger screen, page buttons, storage, etc.

Its a great size, has all the bells and whistles as the 6.8 version, The wife wanted this one back for travel and easier to carry around. Easier in hand as well. And for the price, you can't beat it.
