If youre building a gaming rig and want the best value for your money, this is it. I have it paired with a 4080 for 1440p and 4k gaming and it performs! In gaming it averages around 40-50w @5.3ghz with PBO enabled and a -25 all core curve. I had an arctic liquid freezer II 240 that i put on it and thermals are low 50s. Easily keeps up with the 7700/x a lot of the time. Doesnt bottleneck my 4080.

Pros, 1. Currently the most inexpensive AM5 CPU that can be easily bought. The Ryzen 5 7500F isn't for sale in the USA at the moment. 2. Great single and multi thread performance for a 6c/12t CPU. 3. It's unlocked so you can overclock it or just use the easier PBO2. 4. A great starting point if you want to later get a better CPU in the AM5 platform. 5. When overclocked it matches and can sometimes slightly beat the Ryzen 5 7600X. 6. Even without overclocking it performs nearly as good as a Ryzen 5 7600X. 7. When just running stock it's very energy efficient and runs cool. 8. It includes a CPU cooler that would be fine for running this CPU at stock setting. 9. In gaming it sometimes matches or beat the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, but not usually. 10. Lastly it has integrated graphics for troubleshooting and AV1 encoding. Cons to be fair, 1. The price should be lower. Around Black Friday prices were 30 lower and now they're back up to MSRP. I fortunately had some gift card to take my price down to 199. 2. To run this CPU you'll need to move the pricier AM5 motherboards and DDR5. 3. Unlike the Intel competition you don't have an option to run cheaper DDR4 and Intel motherboards are much cheaper average for a real good one. 4. This CPU isn't the best for multitasking and for productivity workloads. If you're a gamer and only do some productivity workloads this CPU should be good otherwise I'd recommend the Intel competition because it has those extra E cores to help with heavy workloads.

This works great, the Integrated graphics has done well while ive waited for my dedicated graphics card to come in and it has allowed me to do some light IT work along with gaming. It struggles with more demanding titles but is great as a substitute if you dont have GPU money. Also comes with a CPU cooler so definitely feels like you get more for a pretty affordable CPU.

This was the only ryzen 5 option in stock when I was building my pc and honestly I don't think I needed more powerful options. I'm a casual gamer and that's all I use my pc for. I'm able to run all my games on high with great fps numbers. I say spend less on cpu and get a better gpu instead for gaming. it will be a better investment. You can upgrade your cpu later since this socket will be supported for a while.

Great economical mid-range processor for moderate gaming or general high performance applications.

Good processor. Works fine for my uses. Mine did not come with thermal paste however did come with a cooler fan. It's not the vest cooling fan but better than what I had before upgrading. Overall if your wanting to play some games and stream videos like me this processor will get the job done just fine.

As advertised. I bought this for my grandson, for Christmas. He was ecstatic when he opened it. Hopefully it's performance will exceed his expectations

Great processor, I do alot of rendering and gaming and this met both of my needs. My only issue is that the Bios UI isnt to great but other than that great processor.

Great value to performance CPU. Works well for mid to high range budget builds. Using the new Am5 socket will future proof your build for at least a couple generations of cpus

This thing has exceeded my expectations in every way. I use it primarily for gaming & it stays very cool & doesn’t even come close to bottle necking anything even with an rtx3090.

Get this for a budget but very functional gaming build. Simply turn on precision boost in the bios and you have a 7600x essentially.
