Customer Ratings & Reviews

Very good cpu for the price, got it when it came out but overall not a bad processor.

Upgrading my pc I used to use R5 2600 and this was so much better then what I’m used to paired it with my 5070 I just got pc is solid now

I know the reviews are not spectacular but I feel this cpu is being overlooked. It is a very servicable cpu. Works well and I don’t have any problems!

Good for the rebuild of my PC monitor everything runs faster

Performance well for the cost. A little faster than i7-12700k at single core tasks. Given its paired with DDR5 ram vs i7 normally with DDR4 it actually outperforms in most all cases.

Excellent CPU! This is paired with 7800xt and is great for 1440p gaming on ultra. It only uses 65w max (TDP) on stock settings so it stays cool and performs very well. Yes the X3D CPUs are superior but this one holds it's own for 1440p gaming.

I Purchased this processor to build a PC for processing/editing screen recordings of news broadcasts. it has performed as expected.

This is an amazing peace of work, over kill for me but runs games like star citizen while streaming my shows and discord

It does the computes, I like the vidgeo games. AM5ver

its great nothing too crazy about it. Really easy to install and temps are great.

[Employee of bestbuy] I’ve been using the cpu for a couple of weeks and its been fantastic. Doesn’t run hot and I’ve noticed significant improvements from my old cpu. But I was running a 3700x before

Excellent performance for gaming and everyday tasks. Runs cool and efficient, though the upgrade over previous generations isn't huge.

Overall great cpu especially at the price I got it at.

Great processor. The amount of headroom for overclocking is crazy.

Super fast one of the best on the market best price around can never go wrong with Best Buy

I just purchased the ryzen 7 9700x and it's way better than my intel Core i7 13th gen i haven't had any issues with my ryzen cpu it's the best bang for you're buck

This is a great CPU for the money, but turn on PBO to get the best out of it. Out of the box, the power setting is basically an ECO setting, and gimps the CPU.

Great cpu for the price, very glad i got it, then upgraded from it.

Awesome Chip for everyday use, its fst, reliable and easy to install.

Works as it should and in a fair price range. I havent had any issues.
