The Process Face to Face was recorded in one freezing week in deep winter. (We especially remember the InchfreezingInch part because we couldn't run the heat during the recording process!) To capture the reality and sound of live performance we moved out of the studio and into a living room where we recorded voice and grand piano simultaneously. In doing so, we exchanged processed InchperfectionInch for raw passion and the joyous, unrehearsed moments that Inchjust happenInch when two innovative, interactive musicians perform live together. Nothing was re-recorded in the studio in post-production. It is what it is. The Passion InchThe Person, the message, and the way of Jesus are, quite simply, my life. These songs have emerged from a grateful, mercy-soaked heart and reflect a lifetime of ongoing discovery - of running after, and sometimes wandering away from, the loving, faithful God. In my journey I've discovered that hunger, born in Heaven, cannot be satisfied with things of the earth. I've also discovered that, while rules and regulations may bind, they can't hold me - and religious sentiment merely evaporates like morning mist. But the beautiful, burning, compassionate Christ of the Gospels is Someone worthy of a life's devotion. He has mine.Inch - the singer/songwriter.
