Questions & Answers
Does it work for iPhone 13’s as well? It says IPhone 15 so I just want to make sure.
Answered by Anker TeamYes, it works perfectly with iPhone 13 models. The power bank includes a built-in MFi certified Lightning cable, so you can plug it directly into your iPhone 13 without any adapter. It will charge at up to 20W (the iPhone 13's maximum), which is fully supported by the power bank's 30W output. The iPhone 15 mention is for the newer models, but it works with all Lightning iPhones back to the iPhone 8.
The photo description says the product weighs 12.77oz but the Specs listing in the webpage for the product cites 12.3 pounds. I think the BestBuy webpage needs to be edited - does this power bank really weight more than a gallon of milk?
Answered by Anker TeamNo, the power bank does not weigh 12.3 pounds—that is an error on the Best Buy listing. The actual weight of this Anker 20,000mAh model is approximately 12.8 ounces (about 0.8 pounds), which matches the 12.77 oz shown in the photo description. The specs listing incorrectly used pounds instead of ounces. So no, it is not heavier than a gallon of milk.
How do you charge this power bank? Does it come with a charging power adapter or do I have to purchase one separately.
Answered by Anker TeamTo charge the Anker Power Bank with 20,000mAh capacity and 30W Max Fast Portable Charger, you would typically use a suitable wall charger with a USB-C port. It appears that this power bank does not come with a charging power adapter included. You would need to purchase a compatible charger separately. For optimal recharging performance, it is recommended to use a wall charger that supports Power Delivery with at least 30W or more, depending on your power bank's requirements. Here are some suggestions: 30W wall charger for Anker 537 and others Anker 45W wall charger for Anker PowerCore+ 26800 mAh and others Additionally, depending on the package, the power bank should come with a USB-C cable suitable for recharging the device. Always confirm the included accessories for your specific purchase.
is this TSA approved? Can I charge this with the built in cable?
Answered by Anker TeamMost Anker power banks comply with airline standards, including TSA regulations, for battery capacity as long as the capacity is under 100Wh. It is best to double-check the specific capacity of your power bank for confirmation. As for charging the power bank using the built-in cable: typically, built-in cables on power banks are meant for charging devices, not for recharging the power bank itself. However, if this power bank has a unique feature to charge itself using the built-in cable, it would be specified in the product manual or description. Please verify the features in the product's manual or description to be sure.
Is this charger compatible with iPhone SE
Answered by Anker TeamBased on the available knowledge, Anker power banks, including models like the PowerCore Slim 10000 PD, PowerCore 26800, and the magnetic wireless power banks, are compatible with various iPhone models, mainly from the iPhone 12 series onward due to MagSafe functionality. The iPhone SE isn't explicitly listed in the compatibility details. However, if it is not a MagSafe-compatible device like iPhone 12 and newer models, wired charging using a USB or Lightning cable from a compatible Anker power bank should work without issues. You would need to ensure the power bank supports universal USB compatibility for iPhone SE wired charging.
