Had it for a couple months now. I use it inside an RV that gers a lot of voltage fluctuation but this has been able to keep my plugged in router / devices like a charm. No more random resets on my router.

It lasted surprisingly long, I had a 25 watt amp plugged into it for multiple hours while I played music. I left it plugged in over night to charge and it was ready in the morning. I definitely recommend the powerbank.

This product has helped me since I bought it, since lately there have been too many blackouts in my neighborhood due to electrical storms, plus it comes with enough outlets if you have a setup with one computer and three consoles.

This was a replacement to our Decade old APC Back UPS 650VA. The old one was a horizontal format, which means it too more floor space. This new version has a couple less plugs, but the vertical formal is a major game changer in terms of where it can be put, and a lot less accidentally stepping on it below the work station. We also LOVE the USB charging port as well. It brings some some comfort knowing that a surge won't take out our USB Hub that c charges our Apple Devices...those aren't cheap. Bottom line, this is a MUST BUY if you value the electronics you use.

This is my second APC UPS. The first one {"The Big Guy"} is for a huge tower PC, monitor, Phone/Digital modem, and external backup RAID. It is an astounding quality system. So to cover the gap between when our power goes out and the generator starts, the 650VA unit keeps the whole entertainment center happy, which also avoids lengthly cold starts on that central DVR for many units in the house... They both work perfectly ~ through many test and actual outages from the utility company.

I like the appearance and performance. It looks like it belongs in an office and it performsa s advertised. I use it also as a supply for a sound bar in a grassy area where I need sound but do not have AC power and it does the job

We purchased 2 of these for our home network because they were on sale for $25 off regular price! Good deal, awesome reviews and if you know anything about UPS you know that APC is a top leading brand. Protect your network and have that extra power when the regular power goes out! Highly recommended!

I use this UPS to operate my satellite Internet and Desktop computer. I am off grid with solar and when I need to use my auxiliary generator to provide power, then revert back to solar (with my transfer switch) I was loosing power momentarily to my devices and they were having to re start. This UPS prevents power loss and my electronics do not fall off line now.

This UPS works great. Couple of weeks after buying it the power went for some reason. I was able to keep my phone charge and my wifi on.

This APC battery back up is all you ever need to stay connected to the internet on a power outage. This model comes with 7 outlets but only 5 of them are for the use of the battery back up and the other two are surge protection only, also has a 5V 2.1A USB port. So far I’ve connected my internet modem, my WiFi router, my security camera base, my security alarm and my laptop, all this electronics worked well while running on battery during a power outage I had recently until the power came back 2 hours later. This model with 650VA/360 watts can run up to 4.3 hours for normal home network use, has a building wiring fault indicator, circuit breaker , power button that can also be set a multiple alarm settings that will alert you of a low battery and also to mute the alarm. This device is easy to use and set up for all your electronic network devices, glad to have this battery/surge protector for my internet devices. One tip of advice for safety: when you connect this battery back up in any of your house wall plugs , make sure that the building wiring fault indicator light is off, if it stays red at all times, your wall plug is not grounded or could have an electric problem, so either contact an electrician or just plug this battery device in a wall plug that will not make the red light indicator stays on.

In a connected world, when the power goes out, the internet goes out, your life is now lifeless and worthless until power is restored. One of the problems can be solved by UPS. I use UPS’s to protect my critical infrastructure. The APC 650VA Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) is designed just for that. 650VA is not a whole lot, but its enough to power your life before you end up twiddling your thumbs in boredom. This is not my first UPS; I have consistently used UPS’s over the last two decades to protect critical equipment. UPS does not only provide consistent power backup, but it also allows for smoothening of the power when there are brownouts (not a complete power cut, but a reduced voltage). This power conditioning allows for longer life of connected equipment. The UPS features 650VA (higher capacities are available), with five (5) outlets (two (2) of which are transformer outlets, three (3) regular) backed up by a battery that provides surge protection, and two (2) more regular outlets that provide only surge protection. There is a USB port on top that provides 2.1A at 5V to charge your phone. On the side, it has a reset button, and on the bottom a battery connector/breaker to safely transport your UPS. So, What do I use this seven (7) port UPS for? Well, it protects my internet connection, something that has been useful the last few days with the high heat and the threat of rolling blackouts in my area. The combination of working from home and the need for stable always-on internet is ever such a necessity. In my home, a UPS protects my critical infrastructure from the Network Attached Storage (NAS) drives, switches, security camera DVR, and now the internet modem, gateway, and router. A 650VA UPS powers my critical internet gateway for a good few 3-4 hours estimated (based on the combined average draw of my modem + gateway + wireless router) enough to get power back. This should give you enough time to shut down critical NAS drives should you use them on your network. The one thing this UPS does not feature is the ability to connect via USB to a NAS drive for the auto-shutdown. A feature my other APC UPS’s have and useful to auto shutdown your equipment when power runs low. Instead, this UPS contains a 2.1A 5V USB charger to charge your phone. Do note, depending on the amount of energy drawn by your connected equipment, a UPS of this size could only power your equipment for at best a few minutes, allowing you to shut down and save the equipment. It is best to pre-calculate the amount of VoltAmps (or Watts required) to properly size your UPS. That said for most people, a UPS of this size would happily power equipment like modems and wifi routers for hours. Overall, a UPS is a piece of critical equipment; you do not realize that you need it until you do. Having lived in other parts of the world, I am well versed for the need for reliable backup power should mains power go off at any moment. A UPS is cheap insurance for your expensive lifestyle and equipment. Pros: * Well designed UPS for protecting internet router gateways * APC brand name, recognized worldwide for quality UPS Cons: * No display to show the amount of power left * No USB to allow for auto-shutdown of connected equipment

I recently purchased the APC Back-UPS 650VA and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The device is sleek and compact in design, making it easy to place on my desk without taking up too much space. The 1 USB charging port is a great addition, as I can easily charge my phone or tablet while I work. The Back-UPS 650VA provides reliable battery backup during power outages, ensuring that my work is not interrupted. The device is also very easy to set up, with clear instructions provided in the manual. Overall, I highly recommend the APC Back-UPS 650VA to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient battery backup system.

The router provided by my Internet service provider can be a real pain to reconnect after a brief power outage. That makes a battery back-up unit critical to avoid annoying disconnects and reconnects. This model is a solid option for folks with this concern. The battery can keep your router up and functional for over 4 hours. And in an emergency, there is a USB port provided that will allow you to charge your phone. This unit is affordable and multi-purpose, allowing your devices to be protected from surges (all 7 outlets perform this function), and also providing the battery back-up (5 of the 7 outlets). If you have somewhat frequent power outages and it is critical that you remain online, definitely consider this Battery Back-UPS.

This APC battery back-UPS is just what you need if you'd like to keep your network equipment up and running during a power outage. Right after I received this unit, we had a series of storms that rolled through over 3-4 nights. My house is prone to lose power since it's in the woods, and although the outages are usually only a hour or so at the most, it's annoying. Sure enough, the power went out the first night I had this new unit, but this time I didn't have to make a judgement call as to whether I should fire up the generator (usually if I do that, the power is back on before I get back in the house), because the UPS kept the modem, router, and security camera base station working for about 1.5 hrs until the power was restored, allowing me to stay connected to the internet with my laptop the whole time. l was even able to charge my phone at one point because I didn't want it going below 30%. Set up was a snap, and it blends in with the other items it powers, so it's not an eye-sore. I'm quite pleased with this product so far.

Love this for protecting my longer quilting machine. Worth it to protect a machine I use as part of my small business from harmful electrical surges. The battery backup also allows me time in a power outage to save my project and power down so I don’t lost my project.
